Hummm, I have seen both patterns in the store and I like them both.... I'll pick the Bali Gold. It does look very summery and good for Florida. Isn't it nice to have such a serious decision to make? Just think if you get the Bali Gold for Florida then you will just be forced to get the purple for home! I think I am being an enabler!

Yeah, you should look for them. On the third floor there was the art gallery with the computer and you could see what they all looked like. Then they order them for you (I don't think you can just buy them in the store).

It's funny because when they first came out I wasn't a big fan of them but now that I've been seeing people with them they're so cute!

Hey DIS friends!

Happy Cinco de Mayo and Happy Teacher Appreciation Week (be sure to thank all the teachers out there and let them know how much you appreciate them...). I subbed today in a second grade class so we got to learn a lot about Cinco de Mayo. It was a really great day, maybe because there were SEVEN kids out today (is anyone else sick of all the swine flu drama?! ).

Anyways...I was just over on Tammy's (OneTreeHillAddict) TR and she posted that the August park hours were out. WOO HOO!!! So I went onto the Disney official site and they are posted...for the most part. I still didn't see any Animal Kingdom hours which was sort of strange.

I was also looking at the Extra Magic Hours for the days we'll be there so that'll be helpful in planning where we want to go each day.

Magic Kingdom
PM EMH on Friday 8/21 and Sunday 8/23 (10:00-1:00)

Epcot
no EMH while we're there

Hollywood Studios

I'm kind of bummed that there are no morning EMH at the Magic Kingdom since we usually go there our first morning. I think instead we'll probably break tradition and go to DHS so we can do Toy Story Mania and the American Idol Experience.

Good news, the Animal Kingdom hours were FINALLY released. But, for some reason I've having a really difficult time trying to get them to load back up for me. I have them listed in my PTR for 8/23-28, if that helps at all.

Oh boy, don't get me started on Tom Crean leaving! LOL. You know, honestly I would have been fine with it but the fact that it was completely out of the blue, nobody had any idea he wanted to leave, and the fact that the players found out while watching Sports Center (I remember one of them saying they thought it was an April Fool's joke or something) is ridiculous!

That is just BAD form. I can't imagine how awful it must've felt finding out your coach left through Sports Center. Boo! To be honest, I'm not a huge Crean fan...yet, anyway. I did have a run-in with (almost literally) in the Chili's parking lot. He was talking on his cell phone and almost ran into my car.

Miller Park is WAY more fun that Wrigley!! AND, I'm depressed that Matt was voted off. He's such a sweetie pie! Now all my votes go to Allison!! PS I doubt that Adam was in the bottom and they just did that to freak all his fans out!

Yay, thanks for the heads-up on the AK hours. I just checked the WDW site and sadly there are no evening EMH. I've never done that before and thought it could be kind of fun. Oh well, maybe next trip.

I know, it was so ridiculous. MU people were not happy about that and it was so strange too because he just signed a huge contract (atleast I think he did...). That is crazy about your little run-in!

Miller Park is a lot of fun. Nothing like "Roll Out The Barrel" during the 7th inning stretch and of course the racing sausages. That slide would be pretty cool.

I am so excited Danny made Top 3 so we get to enjoy the homecoming festivities. The news on FOX has been nonstop Danny coverage and there was quite a crowd outside the studio to greet him. My sisters and I are going down to Summerfest for his concert later on...but we've got to decide how early we want to go. AHH this is so crazy having one of these homecomings actually happening here.

Hi guys!

So this is completely off topic but I really want to share anyway. As you all may know now from reading my PTR I'm a big American Idol fan and an even bigger Danny Gokey fan. Yesterday was his big homecoming here in Milwaukee. There were a bunch of different events going on around the city including a free concert down at the Summerfest grounds (for those of you who don't know, Summerfest is a big music festival that goes on every summer and there are other festivals at the grounds as well). Of course my sisters and I went to see our idol! It was soooo much fun. They said in the paper this morning they estimated 25,000 people were there. Just wanted to share a few pictures:

Milwaukee's Idol!!

So overall it was such a fun afternoon. I can't wait to see what they all show on the results show Wednesday night. I'm also excited because we got our tickets to the Idols Live show yesterday!

OK, now back to some Disney, I don't want to get yelled at by the moderators, haha! All of the park hours are out now which is exciting. I was hoping there would be PM EMH at the Animal Kingdom when we're there but unfortunately there's not. Oh well. I do have to say though that I'd like to spend more time there on this trip since we only went there once in December. It's my 2nd favorite park!

Also, with the opening of Kidani Village at the AKL, I was thinking it would be neat to go visit there and see what it's like. I'd also like to visit Bay Lake Tower and Fort Wilderness since it's pretty close to the Wilderness Lodge (did I see somewhere that you can take a bus from the WL to FW? ).

Tuesday we reach 100 days until our trip! To kick off the 100-day countdown I'm going to start my "magical memories" list. Part of the excitement in planning a trip to Disney (atleast for me!) is remembering all of the past trips we've taken. I can't wait to share them!

OMG THAT MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE FOR DANNY?! Wow. I'm sorry but "Scream On" is right!! He SCREAMS! EVERYTHING! And anyone who can spell American Idol knows that Danny's wife died so I'm guessing he is getting a lot of sympathy votes. I know you love him but I just cannot deal with the fact that he and Kris are there instead of Allison and Matt!!! Kris Allen is one of the most boring people to ever be on American Idol.

Also, I'm not happy because I have a friend in L.A. who is friends with some songwriter who has been in the studio with Adam recently. Adam hasn't even won yet so I don't know what is going on with that. Makes me think something is up! Also, the person who told me this got in trouble for telling me because apparently its supposed to be a secret? SHADY!!

OK, so I've been depressed about Matt leaving and now really upset with Allison leaving and haven't come on the boards lately. Actually, I have just been swamped with schoolwork and haven't had time! BUT, I'm all caught up now!

3. I can't wait to hear what you think of Bay Lake Tower when you go explore. I've seen some pics online and it looks a little weird. Hopefully it looks better in real life!
