Hi Christina! Count me in! I've only browsed through the first page so far and everything looks amazing. I'm going back now to get all caught up!![]()
Ok, I'm all caught up! You've got a lot of great stuff here already! All of your plans sound great. I would love to be a part time wedding planner! It is so much fun, isn't it?I think fall is such a beautiful time for weddings. I can already tell your pictures are going to be amazing with all of those colors!
Your honeymoon plans sound great, too! You will LOVE the cabana. I am so glad we chose to rent one. It made for a perfectly relaxing day!I would highly recommend the fireworks cruise, too!
And oh my goodness, you're killing me with all this VB! That is my go to brand for park bags. I am checking out that sale, now! And I think your DF will love the Land's End toiletry bag. Miguel and I love ours. It keeps everything so organized and it holds so much!
Can't wait to see more!![]()
Aww! Thank you so much!!!!We are so excited and can't wait!!
I LOVE planning, it's so much fun!
I am debating fireworks cruise vs fireworks dessert show, and I just think with timing, the dessert show may be a better option! But I know you did the fireworks cruise, could you let me know all the details about your experience?
I am now a VB addict. I went in there, thinking they would be perfect fit for my travel needs. I wasn't happy with what I had anymore. The woman who helped me could have told me i needed the carpet and I would have purchased it lol. So i received some gifts for my bday and easter and have been purchasing just a little bit at a time, and I know they will be pieces I can travel with for years to come!
FH's LE bag should arrive wednesday!
And the July 4th shopping continues, I purchased another pair of capri's and flips from macys! As well as my shower album and prints for my scrap books! I saved a TON! Thank you shutterfly! hehe
I see you have chapter links in your reports, can you help me out with that?
Thanks hunniie!
xo
If you have time, I would suggest doing the dessert party and the fireworks cruise. We did both and I am so glad we did. They are two very different experiences and you get two really different perspectives. The dessert party was really fun! We did it on a night that had PM EMH, and it was really fun to go to the party, see the fireworks and then go on some attractions. For the cruise, if you're having a nice meal at one of the MK hotels, you can have it pick you up after dinner and then if can even drop you off at the GF if that's not where they picked you up.
For the chapter links (hopefully this will make sense!) When you do a new post, click on the number in the upper right hand corner of the post. This will open up that particular post in a new window. From there, copy the web address of that window. Then, go to the post that you want to post the link in and click on the edit button down in the bottom right hand corner. There is a small globe icon that has a paperclip below it up at the top of the edit box. Click on that and then paste your URL into the box. Then click ok (or whatever it prompts you to do). It will insert the URL into your post. The highlighted part is the title, so just change that to whatever you want it to be and save your changes.![]()
So, you definitely have to get the Photopass! If you decide that you didn't like the pictures or it wasn't "worth it" you can get a refund if you pre-pay for the photopass before you go. However, I have yet to hear of a person actually doing this. We were in Disney for 10 days, and once I edited, added borders, etc we ended up with over 1,000 pictures. Very Very worth it in my opinion. Loooooooove all your wedding planning pictures. I had my "meltdown" last week over all of the stuff we have left to do. We go to meet with the linen and chair people next week, so that has me a bit stressed.
Oh wow!!! That sounds incredible! I am not the most creative person but I will certainly go over the list and try to come up with some drink name ideas. My creativity is spontaneous, I might be folding laundry and I will get a random thought.![]()
As for drink names, here's some I could think of:
-"Blushing Bride" for a drink that's red or pink.
-For the Cooler drink you could do a mix of your two names together. Like "Scottina Cooler".
-For the apple martini, you could call it "Mr. & Mrs. Martini".
-For the honeymoon drink, you could call it "The Honeymoon".
-For the Disney drink, it could be called "When You Wish Upon a Star".
Thank you! such cute ideas!
'Random thought: Goofytini.... for the appletini, not a good one but if I drank a few I would be acting all kinds of goofy....horrible I know.
How about Fantasytini or Fantasitini or Fantasiatini for #4?
Oh.my.goodness. I think this pretty much sums up my thoughts on this post:
Paper and food were two of the things that I really got into as well - I feel like there is so much room for creativity there. The Save the Dates look amazing and I LOVE the invites. For the proof, if you upload the picture to photobucket there is a "distort" option under edit that allows you to kind of swirl your info so no one can make it out if you'd like to share that. I would love to see!
The menu is just fabulous. There will not be a soul that leaves your wedding hungry, that's for sure!I do have a question, though, since you obviously know a lot about weddings. I have noticed on TV shows and such that at all weddings in the North, the cocktail hour is a BIG deal with tons of food. For instance - our caterer and most that I checked with only offered 3 types of passed apps (unless you wanted to pay way more). I think the most variety I saw was maybe 5 varieties? Are all cocktail hours in your area like that, or are your guests just extra lucky?
LOVE the soup in the pumpkin. As you probably know by now I love a good theme!
