I finished this about a month ago and though I would share it.
I made it to say a big Thank You to Virgin Atlantic and for all of my family who live all around Florida. All of the miles that seperate us make them all seem a bit closer when I watch this.
Enjoy.... :)(hope you like it... never made a video before!)
Cheers! Ella

Thank you for sharing that Ella. I really enjoyed it! :thumbsup2 It certainly doesn't look anything like a first time attempt! I really liked your choice of music too :goodvibes A special keepsake for many years to come.

Now when I comment, I always have questions so here goes :rolleyes1

What video camera did you use? Now I don't want to be running a search on what you tell me and find it is horrendously expensive :rotfl2:

And I see you did Characters in Flight. In a nutshell, was it worth doing? My DD has been asking if we can do it this year and I am quite happy to do so.

Fantastic !! One of the best videos I have seen! You have an amazing talent there xxx

I am glad you like it! I used Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA9 Waterproof HD Camcorder which I got off pixmania for £140.00, it was so simple to use and waterproof to boot as I wanted to use it on Kali River Rapids, but it was shut down.

I loved characters in flight, we did it early in the morning and it was stunning. we tried to go on it again for the evening fireworks, but every evening it was just tooo windy. It does go up quite high, but was so thrilling and quiet up there with the birds. If you do go, stand in the middle on the far side of the big 'O' and you can see all the parks and see for miles!:)

My 19month old twins justbsat all the way through that, they loved it and now I can't wait to go now,

Seeing their little faces light up with a video, thank you for a great video

Thanks Ella. The picture quality is very good. The one I used last year was great for basic clips but image quality suffered in anything other than daylight so I am toying with the idea of getting another for this year's trip.

Thanks for the tip on where to stand for the characters in flight. We will probably go early in the morning if they are able to operate on any of the days we can manage as I want to take photos but don't trust my skill with night shots for a few hundred feet in the air. :lmao:

We did this last time we were there and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pilot was also very good for pointing out things that we might have missed otherwise - as well as letting us in on some Disney secrets too :thumbsup2

that was wonderful!! thanks!!

by the way, the balloon in DTD - how long is the ride?

it really looks nice from up there (even though i'm TERRIFIED of heights)!!
