We just got back Sat. from our stay at the WL. Here are a few reviews.
Dinners at WCC
Johnny b. Good chicken -It was okay. I thought it was really heavy and I was hoping for more veggies.
Roasted Chicken- my husband also thought it was just okay.
later in the week we ate there again.
All you can eat skillet- I thought that this was good and I would reccomend it. The ribs were excellent.
Steak- My husband thought that it was okay.
My kids got the usual kid fare and they were happy with their meals.
Breakfast
Pancakes- theses were very good.
Waffles- My husband really liked his waffels with blueberries on top.
Our service for breakfast was very slow and we were there for a good hour. The service was poor. I chalked it up to a bad day for the server as he was nice.

The atmosphere Was nice and amusing. No one was rude they were just a little outrageous. We thought that the theme was great and we liked all of the little details like drinking from the mason jars. we would not haven eaten there more than once if we were not staying there.

Alfredo's
Trio pasta dinner- my husband enjoyed his gnocchi and lasagna. The lasagna had a really great meat sauce which tasted very rich.
I had a dish with shrimp and fet. with a tomato alfredo sauce- It was good but luke warm. I was so hungry that I didn't complain.
My kids had chicken nuggets and lasagna which was the same as my husbands.
The sevice was very fast and the waitor was nice. we enjoyed the singing. I would go here again.

Ohana's
We had the all you can eat dinner. I loved this place! :cool1: We had a late lunch so unfortunately we were not extremely hungry. We had a great window seat and we could see the castle. The food was yummy. Some things were a little dry but the sauces were so good that it made up for it. I loved the beef and the shrimp the best. My husband loved the pork. The salad dressing and green beans were delicious. I loved our waitress and their mixed drinks are great. I would say that this is a must do dinner.

1900 Park Fare
Dinner buffet
when I walked into the rest. I was dissapointed. :sad2: It looked like a glorified cafeteria and it was very loud and there was a ton of screaming kids that echoed because of the high ceilings. The tables were so close together that it was difficult to squeeze in between then to go up to the buffet. I am a size 4 and my bottom was close to rubbing against the table next to us. We walked up to get our food and everthing looked great. I thought that the food was excellent. The varierty was great. after a little while it quieted down and we enjoyed chating to the group next to us. We had to become friends because my butt was bumping their table everytime my 3 year old wanted more watermelon. ;) I feel that the atmosphere stunk at this rest. but the food was so good that it made up for it. The Grand Floridian could definately come up with a better decor that absorbed some of the noise. Give it a try but ask for a round table and bring your earplugs.

The Plaza Rest.
Salad w/ bleu cheese and grilled chicken- Very good
Grilled chicken sand,- He really liked it
Kids had hotdogs which were good

Chef Mickeys
Breakfast Buffet
I loved the decor of this rest. The food was good and we had a good time.

Fast food

Roaring Forks at WL- Besides the stale bagels I thought that the food was decent.
Chicken ceasar salad- good
cheseburgers - good
Pizza- good

Avalunch at BBWe all got hotdogs which were huge and very good

Lottawater Lodge at BBCheeseburgers- which were very greasy and over cooked. We will stick to the hotdogs at Avalunch. When we went to BB there were probably only 30 others in the park. The lottawater lodge had about 25 people working there and are food still took a long time. My husband and I thought that was funny.

We had a great time eating our way through WDW. The service was great and for the volume of food they put out we thought that they did a great job. The food quality was good but we ended up spending anywhere from 70- 100 dollars for each dinner. I would say that our family of 4 ( 2 children) ended up spending around $900 on food. Yikes! :earseek:

Thanks for the reviews! I feel the same way about the tables at Prk Faire. They are much too close to each other, especially since they tell you to put kids on the outside for the characters and the adults wind up on the inside and having to squish between the tables.

Hi,

Thanks for the reviews. I'm curious about what time you had your PS at Park Fair. Your review confirmed my fears that the noise level/commotion level/tightness would be similiar to Crystal Palace (which we won't be going back to). I'm wondering if later is better or earlier is better for this resturant.

TIA

We were there around 5:30. The food was really good but I will not go again. You might get an older crowd if you go later or you could get young tired and cranky kids. Ya never know. The echos of the screaming made it much worse. There were like 4 babies screaming when we got there. The Moms whisked them off after a while. Many people love the 1900 pf. It was just a lot of $$ for the loud noise and tight quarters. I think that I was tired and it affected more than usual. Maybe breakfast would be better beacuse it would be less expensive. I think that it would have been better if we were sitting in the round tables. I really don't see how a large person could get in or out of there seat. We did Chef Mickeys for breakfast and I liked the atmoshpere much more. I also thought that the decor was nicer. That just my opinion.

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for the reviews!! Gives me a more of a heads up on 1900 park fare.

Enjoyed your reviews. Funny about Park Faire...well, I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time.
