Lunch - Tony's
This was one of our favorites!!
I had my bridal minnie ears on and when we were seated we had pixie-dust on our table with streamers. We started with the calamari; DH had never tried this before I wouldn't tell him what it was until he tried;-) Neither of us liked it very much. We both had (forget the exact name) tortellini with chicken in alfredo sauce. Very, very tasty, we both liked it.
The table next to us had a couple celebrating their 60th anniversary. The Dapper Dans came in and sang a few songs to them, it was so sweet because they and their family members all started crying.
After they left, it was our turn for a fuss to be made of us;-) First the whole restaurant toasted us, then someone came out with a plate containing a single strand of spaghetti - we were to reinact Lady and the Tramp's first kiss. They took a picture of us and told us it would be posted somewhere in the lobby - incentive for us to go back in a few months;-) We then received our dessert - the ice cream they usually bring for birthdays.
Dinner - CRT
We thought nothing could possibly top how much fun we had at Tony's... CRT was our favortie of the trip for atmosphere. We arrived about 15 min. before our PS and were seated about 20 min. after our PS time. This was because we had a window seat complete with pixie-dust and a complimentary champagne glass all wrapped us for us to take home. DH had the mussels to start (Artist Point's were still the best), I had the crabcakes (very good). We both had the beef tenderloin for dinner and we loved it. I had the banana creme brulee for dessert, my first creme brulee and probably one of my favorite desserts! DH had some sort of chocolate thing (can't remember). The atmosphere was just the best, and it was neat looking out over Fantasyland at night. We'd definitely do this again!
