We are going to The World at the end of October. It will be myself and my husband our daughters (5&6) and my parents. Is there anything that you would add, move, change or exchange?? :)

Day 1: Sci-Fi: 7:30pm First day, will probably get to DHS around 3pm.

Day 2: Cinderella’s Royal Table: 7:15pm Getting to MK at RP, leaving around 2-3 to rest at the hotel, then back at 5pm for BBB and dinner.

Day 3: Tusker House: 9:05am & Sanaa: 5:05pm This is our AK day - We will not be taking a hotel break this day...

Day 4: Via Napoli: 7:00pm Epcot day - Will get there at RP, leave around 3-4 for a hotel break, and then back for dinner and Illuminations.

Day 5: Garden View Tea Room: 3:40pm This is our MNSSHP day... Not quite sure what we are doing this day... Open to options!

Day 6: Coral Reef: 12:50pm & Rose & Crown: 8:00pm This will be another Epcot day, then back to the hotel to meet up with relatives, and then back for dinner.

Day 7: Wolfgang Puck Cafe: 6:30pm OR Kona Cafe: 7:40pm Not sure which to go for here... Thoughts?

Day 8: Chef Mickey: 7:40am This is the day we leave, so I'm planning for a nice early breakfast, then over to MK. Think we will make it there for RD??

TIA!

ETA - I realize it probably doesn't seem like it, but we do have park hoppers, so we don't have to go to the same park in the morning as the one we have dinner reservations at that night.

a good line up. I haven't been to WPC, the Tea or Via Napoli so no comments there. Kona is good if you decide to go there.

I'm not a fab of Coral Reef but there are those that swear by it.

Sanaa is very good. It's a great addition to AKL. Your daughters will love CRT. We took our daughter when she was 3, 4, 6 and 8. You may find that they won't eat much due the excitement of seeing the princesses. They will really enjoy Tusker House and CM. Tusker House is the better meal but the characters at CM make it our preference. We do this as our departure meal but we have a late ADR so we can pack and do last minute shopping. CM is our farewell to WDW.

Enjoy

I think it looks great so far for dining. We love Via Napoli - it is definitely a favorite. And my kids begged to return to Tusker House. We like the food better at Crystal Palace over Chef Mickey's. We also loved being able to walk down mainstreet when the park was empty. Chef Mickey's is fun too but just throwing out another option.

I would recommend on Day 7 hitting HS early so you can ride TSM and catch Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid. With your late arrival on the first day, I doubt you will catch all of the shows because if memory serves, they don't run late into the evening.

Also, have you seen Fantasmic? My kids love that show (and so do dh and I). Since you guys seem to be up for heading back to the parks at night, I would definitely look up when Fantasmic is showing and try and get there for it!

Good idea about Day 7 - We will probably do that. I don't think I want to spend the time on Fantasmic. Plus, I've heard that you are not guarenteed a seat there? My father can't stand for very long because he has a bad back. Also that day we will have some extended family with us (my brother, his wife, and one of their kids) so I can't schedule something like that really.
And although I said I don't want to spend the time on F!, I've seen in on Youtube, and it looks awesome! Maybe if we go one year without the kids....

Are you on the Dining Plan? I ask because of your WPC vs Kona question. If you are asking about eating downstairs at Wolfgang Puck vs eating at Kona, then definitely Kona (ie. if you are on the dining plan). If, however, you are paying out of pocket and are interested in the Dining Room at Wolfgang Puck (upstairs), then I would definitely recommend the Dining Room over Kona. The Dining Room, however, is not on DDP.

:goodvibes

I'd also ask what your plans are for day 7. It is really difficult (IMO) to get from some places to DTD and you end up spending a lot of time getting from somewhere to DTD just to eat.

If day 7 is HS and you're using Disney transportation, I'd strongly suggest going to Kona Cafe over Wolfgang. We had to get to DTD from HS last year for an ADR and I would never do that again. Not easy or quick.

We are staying at SSR, so we are a short boat ride away from DtD. Plus, we will all have our own cars, so we don't have to rely on Disney transportation.

ive been to sci fi cinderellas and chef mickeys. chef mickeys is AWESOME! cinderellas is great to. for sci fi the atmoshpere is great, while the food is so-so. if i were u i would exchange that for 50s prime time cafe(amazing) but its totally up to you. both are good choices. we r going tin 2 weeks and we r eating at via napoli so i'll let u know how it goes:thumbsup2

When does AK open on your AK day?

9:05 is that right when the park opens?

I would make a character breakfast either about an hour before rope drop or at least 90 minutes or so after (that gives you time to ride something and grab a fast pass then make it back to Tusker House for the ADR)

And you say you have Park Hoppers, but then you plan to stay in one park every day? My suggestion would be to drop the park hoppers since you can always add them when you are at Disney, right?:confused3

On your MNSSHP, you can enter the park around 4pm with your MNSSHP ticket, so you might want to try to get an earlier ADR that day to maximize your party time. A lot of people that day choose to sleep in, take it easy, hit the pool, and then go to MK at 4pm. By doing this, they can make it until midnight.

I agree with PP that I would also try to get an earlier ADR at Tusker House, unless AK has an AM EMH that morning. If you can't, shoot for 10:30ish - it will be much less busy then, and you can get in a few rides and fast passes before breakfast.

Like a PP, I am also not a fan of Coral Reef. Have you looked at the menu? The fare is on the different side, so if you have any pick eaters, it might not be a big hit. I'm extraordinarily picky and never can find anything I'll eat there. The atmosphere is cool though.

I had a similar quesion as the PP about your Tusker House ADR. If this is for a morning with regular park opening, then you will miss out on the prime a.m. times for KS and EE. I realize that it is difficult to change ADRs for a party your size, and that getting another (later) time might not be possible, although at 8:00 or 10:00 time would have been ideal.

If you don't have to have a character breakfast, maybe you could get something early at Boma?

The rest of your selections look great! I hope you all have a wonderful time.
