We will be taking our 3 kiddos (B11, B9, G6) and my Dad to WDW for the 1st time in June 2012. These are the ADR's we are going to try for, and I'm looking for any comments or suggestions from those more experienced!

Arrival night: Dinner @ Ohana's
HS Day: Dinner @ Whispering Canyon Cafe OR Mama Melrose's Fantasmic! Pkg
MK Day: Dinner @ CRT
EP Day: Dinner @ Biergarten or ??? (Maybe Italian if we don't do Mama's?)
AK Day: Breakfast @ Tusker House

We are on the DDP, and will probably pay OOP for CRT. The one ones I think we are sold on are Ohana's, CRT and Tusker House. The rest are flexible.

Any advice?

(I hope I put this in the right place!)

Looks good to me...but I would probably pay OOP for Tusker House Breakfast and use the two DDP credits for CRT. It would probably work out to be a better cost.

We would have to drop one of the ADR's to do that, as we are only staying for 4 nights, so only have 4 TS credits to use.

What time is your flight scheduled to land? You might run into cancellation issues ($$$) if you can't make it to Ohana due to a delayed travel schedule.

We were very dissapointed with Whispering Canyon. Mama Melrose is great. Ohana is fabulous. CRT is okay. Have you thought about doing the Hoop Dee Doo...I think your kids are at a great age for it and it is fune and good food and free beer and wine.

We are driving, so we should be at the resort by 3pm.

We like the Biergarten restaurant, its loud but entertaining, my kids (2 at that time) had fun, dancing to the music and I danced with my daughter whihc she thought was awesome. We are going back in May (3) kids this time and will be visiting Biergarten again.

Thanks for the thoughts. I think we're going to have the hardest time deciding on whether or not we want to try Mama Melrose or Whispering Canyon.

The Fantasmic! package is the swaying factor for me, I think. I'm just scared by the mixed reviews of Mama's, but I guess it can't be worse than Olive Garden (which I really don't like).

We did lunch at Mama Melrose last summer and enjoyed it. I don't think anyone in our party of 9 complained about the food one bit. It felt like a smaller place too, which was nice after being in a few crowds.

We've been to Mama Melrose twice and really enjoyed it overall. It is better than Olive Garden and my son loves the Calimari (or Chicken Rings as he calls them). My husband enjoyed the fish entree last time. I don't remember my food, but that's b/c I had a pretty good sangria.
