I am taking our family (me, my wife, 7-year-old son, 5-year-old daughter) to the World on Sunday. We're staying at the Poly.

Sunday
Lunch -- Captain Cook's at the Poly
Dinner -- Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

Monday - Epcot
Lunch - Garden Grill
Dinner - San Angel Inn (Is this a good idea? I've heard mixed reviews lately.)

Tuesday - MK
Lunch - Crystal Palace
Dinner - Not sure. It's the Pirates and Princess Party, so I'm thinking counter service, either Pecos Bill's or Pinnochio's Village Haus. Any recommendations?

Wednesday - Studios
Breakfast snack -- Starring Rolls. Is it worthwhile?
Lunch - Counter service somwhere. I was underwhelmed by Backlot Express last year. ABC Commissary or the Flatbread Grille. Any recommendations? Or are we better off going back to the Poly and eating at Captain Cook's?
Dinner -- 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and others.

Thursday - Animal Kingdom/Epcot
Lunch - Flame Tree BBQ
Dinner - Restaurant Marrakesh. Never eaten here, but looks mighty intriguing.

Friday - Going home
Breakfast - Kona Cafe. Hoping the Tonga Toast is as good as I remember. It's been many years.
Lunch - Counter service at Downtown Disney. What do you recommend? Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich?
Dinner - something at the Orlando Airport.

How does it look? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yummy! :goodvibes

Tuesday - Pecos or Pinnochio's... wherever you happen to be at the time :thumbsup2

Wednesday - counter service at DHS: I'm not a huge fan of any of the counter service at DHS. If you are considering leaving the park by lunch time, how about a boat ride over to Beaches & Cream?

Friday - at DD I would eat at Wolfgang Puck Express and pick up sandwiches to go at Earl of Sandwich to eat at the airport (just buy a drink at the airport).

Have a great trip!

With a 7 and 5yr old I would question San Angel and Marrekesh. But you know your kids!
I like San Angel but it is very dark in there. I never saw the kids menu though.
Have fun!

I think the food at San Angel Inn is hit and miss but you go there for the atmosphere. This is always a must-do when we go with someone that has never been to WDW. When we go ourselves we usually skip it.

On Wednesday I strongly suggest the Sci-Fi if you've never been there before. The food is good if you keep it simple (sandwich, fries, milkshake) and the atmosphere is outstanding. It is like an attraction in and of itself.

Capt. Crook is okay for breakfast or to grab a hot dog or nuggets for the kids but that is about it. I don't think I would eat lunch there twice.

I would skip the San Angel Inn. The service is absolutely terrible! The food wasn't good either. The atmosphere is nice but not worth cramped tables, lukewarm food, tostitos and jar salsa and the worst service at WDW. (we couldn't even get a drink refill)
