OK, before I list our ADRs, this trip is just DH and I without the 4 kids who will be with grandma. We are going over our 18th wedding anniversary and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We have been to WDW numerous times, but are trying a lot of new places this trip. We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

Arrival Day, Thursday August 14th
-Our flights touches down at 9 am, so I figuring that by lunch time we may be in Animal Kingdom, if so we will grab a counter service lunch, probably Flame Tree, or if we decide to hang out at the resort, we will eat there.

-We have tickets for the 6 pm La Nouba that night, so dinner will be afterwards at Cap't Jacks at 8:30 pm.

Friday August 15th
-Lunch ADR at Coral Reef at 11:30. We have never eaten here.

-Dinner ADR at Sci-Fi at 7:15. I am seriously considering switching this to Brown Derby. DH loved Sci Fi when we went here the first time and last trip we went to Prime Time instead, so I want to make sure we make it there this trip. We have a lunch ADR also later in the week. We have never tried Brown Derby

Saturday August 16 (our acutal anniversary)
-Lunch at Tony's in the MK at 11:30
-dinner at the California Grill at 5:40
We have never eaten at either of these restaurants. I am still trying for a later dinner time, but am glad to have the ADR since we just decided to make this trip last month. I am a little nervous about Tony's and would consider switching to LTT, we have never been there for lunch but enjoyed dinner several times.

Sunday August 17th
-Lunch at the Kona Cafe at 1:05
-Dinner at Tutto Italia at 7:30
We have never eaten at either. Our kids LOVED Alfredo's and I have such happy memories of taking them there, but I am a little nervous about Tutto Italia. Should I switch to Artist Point?

Monday August 18th
-Lunch at the Sci Fi at 11:30
-Dinner at Narcoosees (first time here also)

Tuesday August 19th
Our travel day. Our flight isn't until 8 pm, so he have the whole day basically.
-Lunch at Tusker House at 1:10 (this was one of DH's favorite meal last trip)

According to my calculations, that makes 26 credits out of 30 available if I let things stand as they are and we keep every ADR. If I switch to Brown Derby and Artist Point that would use up those remaining 4 credits.

I purposely didn't schedule any character meals because the kids aren't with us and DH doesn't know what to say to the characters when the kids aren't there, he feels uncomfortable.

I would have liked to fit Artist Point and Jiko in somewhere, but feel like they never really fit into my itinerary, you know.

Sounds good, You wont be dissapointed. Also everyone is a little different and you will get people that love something and some that hate it. However your list looks good.:thumbsup2

What you have looks great!!
If you decide to use up all the credits, the Brown Derby and Artist's Point would be EXCELLENT choices. Both are delicious and are number one favorites of my brother-in-law (Brown Derby) and my sister (Artist's Point). We were staying at the Wilderness Lodge and ended up at Artisit Point when we were rained out of our original plans- turned out to be a great "problem". So keep it in mind if something changes while you are there (i.e. so exhausted you can't walk another step and want to stay in at the hotel for dinner :)
The food is delicious, but both have amazing decor as well. HAVE A GREAT TRIP!

I seriously need to step away from the touring plan! :rotfl: I think I am just overthinking things because I am not used to going on such short notice, I usually have at least a year to spread my obsessing over, but this time I have to cram it all in quickly! I was suprised I didn't have more trouble getting ADRs.

I would go with BD. We love BD & everytime we have done a place twice on the same trip at WDW the second time was disapointing. We also love Artist Point but have been wanting to try Tutto Italia so that would be a tough one for me, too. and if this is your first trip without the kids, it is such a different touring style, have a wonderful trip.

Of the ones you mentioned that you have adr's that we have been to, we like your choices. Truthfully, we didn't like BD when we went. We haven't given it a second chance because we don't want to use two table service credits on it (and my DH hated the grapefruit cake and his meal). We have heard a lot of good things about Artist Pointe but have yet to try it.

Our absolute favorites are Jiko and Brown Derby. Artist Point is nice also. Have a wonderful trip. If you think you may not like Tony's how about trying The Plaza Restaurant at MK -- we love and also make sure we have a lunch there!

Is it possible too that if we change our minds that someplaces will take walk ins, especially since there are only two of us. The mere though makes me have hives, but I am used to planning for 6, not just 2!
I will definitely call and switch that Sci Fi tonight to BD for sure...I call at least once a day, they would probably miss me if I didn't call tonight also!
