After years of lurking I have finally gotten a chance to post my first review! We were in Disneyworld (August 13 – 18) celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. No strangers to Disney, we were thrilled to spend a vacation dining in all of the places we never got a chance to while we were with our kids (Okay, and a few old favorites too). Since this was a special trip we went all out and did the deluxe dining plan. We also got a big surprise upon checking in at the Wilderness Lodge…we were upgraded to concierge! This explains our lack of daily breakfasts, as we were indulging in all that the lounge had to offer.

Here’s the cast:

Lynne (Me): age 53. Loves almost everything, especially dessert. Extreme fondness for crème brulee and bread pudding. When not at DW, I try to eat as healthy as I can.

Alan (DH): age 54. Diabetic who is always on the hunt for a sugar free dessert. Will eat almost anything with the exception of calamari and strawberries.

Now on to the good stuff…Here’s where we ate:

Raglan Road (Dinner): Post #28, Page 2
Whispering Canyon Café (Breakfast): Post # 32, Page 3
Les Chefs de France (Lunch) Post #32, Page 3
Narcoosees (Dinner) Post #36, Page 3
Tusker House (Lunch) Post #52, Page 4
California Grill (Dinner) Post #52, Page 4
Kona Café (Lunch) Post #60, Page 4
Yachtsman Steakhouse (Dinner) Post #60, Page 4
Coral Reef (Lunch) Post #69, Page 5
Flying Fish (Dinner) Post #69, Page 5
Whispering Canyon Café (Breakfast) post #69, Page 5

Reviews and PICS will be up as soon as I figure out how to do it!

I am in!
We just got back from our celebrating our 15th at AKV. I took pictures of everything we ate and drank the whole trip. I plan on writing a dining report too!

I can't wait to read your reviews!!!!! My DH and myself are planning on celebrating our 25th anniversary next year at WDW in November w/o kids!!!!!!! Are you writing a trip report also??? I just asked my husband this afternoon if we could celebrate our 25th this year. His answer, no, next year. I'm so sad. Can't wait for more.

Lynn

We're on our way in 18 days to celebrate our 13th anniversary. We also are going deluxe, childless and are going to many of the places you visited (Cali Grill, Narcoossee's, Chefs de France) and can't see to think what you think of these places as well as some of the others that you did!

Congratulations on your 25 years of marriage, and welcome home!

Karen

I'll try to be patient waiting for your reviews! Sounds like you went to quite a few places that are on our list for our anniversary trip with deluxe dining.

Happy 25th :dance3:
