We already have a family trip booked for December 13. I thought briefly about trying to change our trip but decided not to. Her start date is Jan 26 so she will fly down herself. She is so excited and I am too! It is something that she has wanted to do for a long time and finally decided this year to apply! I am definitely planning to go down again and visit her hopefully in the middle of her program. I know that she will get discounts for resorts and dining, and shopping. Not sure how much or where but I can't wait to find out. So once she is settled in she will look into make a reservation for us. Most of all I am excited that she decided to go for her dream and now it is coming true for her!

Good for her. Nothing like getting good news!

That is awesome. One of my friends is going back to college at age 30 mostly so she can apply for DCP. I've heard it's a really great experience, as long as you go into it with the expectation to work hard and play hard.

My daughter was in the program 10 years ago she had such a wonderful experience she did it twice since she was in the program she has stood up for one of her roommates wedding she has had reunion visits and kept in touch with many of the cast mates she met from the program

My DD did a college program, than an internship, and is now a cast member! She will love it. It is a great experience and looks wonderful on a resume.

How nice! My DD is a junior so she could have the chance to do it again if she likes it.

How wonderful! My DD is going to look into an internship for sure. She says that she doesn't want to live in Florida permanently, but that could change once she is down there.

Absolutely! That is what I told her - it is her dream come true, BUT she does know that she will have to work hard too.
