I was at MK that same night. I lasted until about 2:40 am as well. It was great with hardly any lines.

When Carowinds was bought by Cedar Point parks they had to drop all the Nickelodeon since that was Paramount. Snoopy and Peanuts gave rights to Cedar Fair for them to use it in their parks.

Had a look at your school schedule, very alien to me as our schooling system is way different in the UK, looks like an interesting scheduled Your AK safari pics have came out good, some good close ones Such a cute baby giraffe you bought, my DD would love it Your balcony break sounds like bliss. B&TB is an excellent show love seeing it every trip. Sorry you got sick. Hope school is going well

I know right, we got about 4 hours out of it, and the weather was PERFECT that night. We didn't have the sun glaring down on us, but no wind

Thanks- I was very pleased with my safari pictures. The giraffe is adorable, I'm so glad I bought him!

July 10th
Day 5
Downtown Disney

We slept in pretty late this morning, since we had been out until 3 am the night before. When it came time to decide what our morning activities were for that day, I mentioned going to Downtown Disney. Of course, my real love of DTD is the fabulous EoS (not to mention the shopping...)

In the end, it was decided that my mom and I would take a bus to DTD while my brothers and dad hung out at the resorts and went on the boats and such

So, my mom and I got ready to go to Downtown Disney

The bus ride was the longest, of course, since DTD is farthest away then any of the parks.

We arrived eventually though!

And our first destination?
The Christmas shop!

My mom got a few ornaments and other things for our Disney Christmas tree at our house for Christmas, of course. She stood in the terribly slow moving line, while I walked around.

**Random, totally unrelated to this TR story= Am I the only one who WANTS it to be fall/winter? I never thought I'd say it, but I'm sick of this hot weather! I want it to be Thanksgiving/Christmas season already haha**

Moving on, we got out of the Christmas store, and headed straight to EoS, it was around lunch time by now, maybe a little before lunch, but the line is always super long for EoS, so we got their early. We had to eat outside though, but it didn't matter because it was beautiful out and it was only my mom and I!

My sandwich

Italian sandwich all the way!
If you'be never had the Italian sandwich... TRY IT! Oh my gosh, it's delicious! (I get it with everything but the tomatoes- bleh!). The sauce that's on it is sooooooooooooo amazing, the meat and cheese are fabulous, and it's the perfect warmed temperature! I want one right now, sooooo bad

After we finished our yummy meals, it was time to do some shopping! Now, I had promised my cousins (DC4 and DC6- from my April 2010 TR- of course now they're DC5 and DC6[almost 7] ) that I'd get them some Mickey Mouse silly bandz. That was my mission.

Look what I found in WoD!

^Princess sillybandz! For my other cousin, she's 9ish

Fairy sillybandz for me So now, I had Fairies and Toy Story. I normally wear one or two a day, whichever ones match my outfit, I'll wear them to school. I'm not one of those people who have sillybandz up to my elbow LOL

I couldn't find ANY Mickey Mouse sillybandz in WoD, and they had a whole big huge display of them! So we left WoD with no Mickey Mouse sillybandz

Would I find these desired Mickey Mouse Sillybandz? Or would I come home to my cousins, empty handed?

I love DTD...but we made the mistake of going later in the evening on our last trip and it was just too crowded to enjoy! Anyway...EoS looks so good...I have not eaten there on any of my trips, but thanks to the DIS I was able to recommend to a family while we were on the long bus ride from AKL to DTD...I hope they enjoyed it as much as you did

I think I agree with you that it is time for fall weather...I'm not enjoying this 90 degree weather in mid-September...

Sillybandz are so huge here. Everyone has at least one! Haha, and everybodys all like "Whoa, you have a DRAGON! I'm jealous" or "DUDE YOUR SILLYBAND GLOWS IN THE DARK!"

I've got Toy Story 3, Fairies, (a few) Princess, and Mickey
I couldn't believe they didn't have them at WoD, I mean, that's THE place to get anything you could possibly need

DTD is always the best morning-afternoon, it's not as crowded, we hardly ever go at night, it's just always so crowded then! EoS is soooo yummy, I really wish I had one of those Italian sandwiches right about now...

I'm with you! I actually love cold weather In the morning when I walk to the bus stop, it's always pretty chilly, but in the afternoon when I get off the bus... it's a total different story!

And I am with you, the weather here has started to cool down, but the summer we had was terrible! Not just the hot weather but all the rain too that caused so much flooding. I'm ready for fall and can't wait till Christmas! hehe

I agree!
I don't think I've ever had the tomato soup or salads. When we went in April though, my cousin had the tomato soup, he liked it
