Our Coronado picks - what do you think?

We have booked a standard room at CS for late March. Looking at the resort map, we have decided to request Cabanas 8A or Ranchos 7A or 7B - we will be traveling without any kids and don't mind a walk. It looks like even the standard rooms in these units might be ok and face a courtyard or grounds instead of a parking lot. I would appreciate hearing from any CS fans regarding these choices. Thanks. We stayed in Cabanas 8A in October & as long as you don't mind the walk to El Centro, it's a great location. Our room was newly renovated and spotless...a great corner room overlooking the pool (even though we couldn't actually see it) which was convenient. I think I prefer the Cabanas location to the Ranchos, but that's just my preference. I'm sure you'll enjoy the resort...we certainly did.

I don't know what everybody means about long walks to El Centro. We stayed in Ranchos 7A during Christmas week and had a short walk to the bus stop. All of the theme park buses stop at El Centro last, so we just rode the first one that came along to get over there for for breakfast and then we left from there to go the the parks. We really didn't do much walking at all at the resort. We really liked the Ranchos and hope to get back there soon.

I stayed in Ranchos 7A and it was great. It's a far walk to El Centro but I didn't mind. It makes for a romantic stroll at night or a peaceful stroll in the morning. Had a view of other buildings and walkway, so it was a good view. I think it's the best themed section of the three. Have a great time.

Cabana 8a is one of our favorite buildings. 7b is right behind it so the location is fine. They are both near bus stop #4 and the Dig Site.
