i take that back. THIS is my favorite! matt's surprise face is more like an amazement face.that's just too funny! i think ray and i had that same pic taken at that same spot, but we both were just looking down and smiling.....so not nearly as funny!
i also love the last pic in front of RnRC!
I was trying to find your rock star pic that I had seen before but no luck....it's somewhere!
Hey Erica! I'm finally caught up. I'm usually not scared to ride anything, but I was very apprehensive about riding the orange side of Mission Space because of the bad press it has gotten. But I rode it not once but twice and LOVED it (my 6-year-old son loved it too...he's the one who insisted that we ride a second time)! Yes, it is quite intense, but it's so realistic. You really feel like a real astronaut.
Loved the pics of Coral Reef. I'm not sure if I've seen any pics of it before. I'll have to eat there on a future visit to WDW.
Great pics of my favorite Disney park--Epcot--and also of the Osborne lights! Your pics are really making me want to visit WDW at Christmastime.
Wow, what GREAT pics! Now I know that I need to Osbourne lights and Coral Reef to my next trip! We missed both those, though I loved Garden Grill, when we were at Epcot, we are all in agreement that we have to try all different restaurants the next trip.
great pics. thanks for sharing. I LOVE your DHs surprised look.Keep them pics comin' I love love love your PP pics! You're an adorable couple!
The pictures of Disney at Christmas are beautiful. I'll get there when I get Masters and I'm done with school. I vaguely remember Opryland, I wasn't old enough to really remember it when we went. I do have to say Opry Mills is much better than Hickory Hollow to me.Great report! Can't wait to hear more!
love the trip report.... Im trying to post mine but does anyone know how to get the pics in there....any help will be appreciated.
is this the one you're talking about?

ray's a dork and didn't get his rock on sign up in time.![]()
I know the feeling, I remember when my town had mini golf and an actual mall. Now we don't have that, the bowling alley is run down, and the mall well you can walk it in under five minutes. I love Nashville and I do wish they Opry was still at the Ryman and not the Grand Old Opry house. There's just that nostalgia about the Ryman.
Agree....the Ryman is wonderful....I've seen Keith Urban and Martina McBride there and it's such a great place :Rockband
Ok....so who are all these cute boys in your pics???![]()
All caught up again. You have some of the best pictures on here. You and your DH look so happy together. All I could do was smile as I was catching up. Good Vibes. Thanks for warming me up on a cold winter day.
we visited Nashville for the first time in November and had a blast. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland hotel and saw the Rockettes in the new theatre. Because they were there, we got to see the Grand Ol' Opry in the Ryman. It was a wonderful show. Wonderful venue. Glad we got a chance to see it there.
I just found this thread and love your pictures! Thanks also for the memories of Opryland.
We only went once, but I remember that trip as so much fun. My husband asked us (our kids about 5 and 8 at the time) if we wanted to go with him on a business trip to Nashville. So we drove down, not having any idea what to expect (at least I didn't), and pulled up in front of the Opryland Hotel dressed in our grubbies, the car full of a couple of days worth of traveling - stuffed animals, pillows, fast food wrappers, Pepsi cans....
It turned out to be an ultra-fancy conference, with security everywhere, and people dressed to the nines. One embarrassing check-in! But they gave us free tickets to Opryland, and that's where the girls and I spent the rest of the day...so much fun! I'd pictured just walking around downtown Nashville trying to entertain the kids while my husband was in meetings, and instead it was a free day at a place just as much fun as Disney! That night we went to the Grand Old Opry, and another night to Andrew Jackson's birthplace(?), and final night to a Barbara Mandrell concert. Tennessee just rolled out the red carpet. That trip is still one of my favorite memories!
