A little background here... our DS is nearly 5 and is ADHD and has a mild pervasive developmental disorder. He frightens easily and is leary in new situations. His doctor says he needs to experience new things so we knew this trip would be perfect. He was absolutely petrified of the masked characters and wouldn't go near them (we did Breakfastsaurus). I had gotten us CRT because we all love princesses and wanted to eat in the castle.

The food was fabulous (breakfast), but that is beside the point.

They placed us in a corner booth/table which was perfect. Snow white was our first princess and she was sweet, but DS didn't want to get out of the booth to meet her. He waved. DD loved her.

Our second princess was Wendy. I cannot tell you how wonderful this young lady was. She was so sweet and loving to my DD she just hugged and hugged her. When DS would not get up... she went to him and sat by him (we told her he was frightened of the characters)... she sat with him and he let her draw in his notebook (which he won't give to anyone!) they talked and he hugged her. It was such a sweet moment. I was in absolute tears. The time and effort she put into making sure the moment was magical was above and beyond what we ever expected. She came by our table at least 3 more times that morning. Later that afternoon we saw her in the parade and waved and she yelled out the kids names in the parade! Magical!!

Our DS did so well with the face characters we decided to cancel our Pooh lunch for later that week and see if we could get into Askershus. We got lunch for the next day. (the food was just ok). The character interaction was also great. Imagine our shock when Alice came to see us and it was our "Wendy"! We were so thrilled. I'm not sure the kids knew, but they loved her just the same. She spent so much time with us. I hugged her and told her we would never forget her.

If you know this young lady... PM me... I'd love to send her a thank you note and a Christmas card (she's going to be on it!)... and tell her she is a God-send!

I know the price of CRT is now really high, but we are hooked and will be back!!

Do you have a picture of her? If so I can see if we can find her when we are there. We are eating at CRT and I am planning on charector hunting like mad, so hopefully we will see her.

Send it to Guest Communications with a letter stating the location(s) and as close as possible to the time(s) at those locations, and they can find out who was where and pass it along.

Oh! I know who that is! Her name is Jen. Er...um....Wendy's close friend in that pic is named Jen. ;) Yes, she is amazing! I've known her to send gifts from Wendy to a child through the mail, even using an annoymous postmark.

don't know her and can't see the picture of her( that stinking red x) but thanks for the great story

I have also seen her, we did the family magic tour at MK in August, and at the end you are greeted by Peter Pan and Wendy, and she was the Wendy, she was amazing with the kids....

I know her!! She was Wendy at my CRT b-day lunch, and I always saw her in the park. She is REALLY nice and I loved your amazing experience.

That was a wonderful story I got tears in my eyes, I do hope you find her!!!!

Apparently she's touched a lot of people's hearts...through your dear son! What a lovely story. Thank you so much for sharing Wendy with us!

Bumping to see if anyone else knows her/had experience with her! :flower:

If you truly want to recognize her kindness send the letter to Guest Communications as TSR6 shared, this is better than sending it to her as it goes in her personnel file and she will benefit from it more.

Now that's what it's all about. And people don't understand why I keep going back to WDW.

My husband and I could not say enough about this "Wendy" either. We saw her twice. Once outside on Main Street. She was worried about my DD's hair and stopped me from taking the picture so she could get it out of the way. Then she came over and looked at my digital picture to make sure she had gotten all of it out of the picture. Then we saw her at CRT. The way she talks to the children and interacted with them. (I was watching her at other tables too) It was wonderful. My DD now wants a Wendy dress-up and walks around the house pretending to be her. (never did that before our trip) She is truly one of a kind!!

Not to be a thread killer here, but to get rid of "red x" just right click on your mouse and select where it says "show picture" and then left click. Pics should come up!!

I wish I knew her name as she was just as wonderful with our dd when we were there this past June. We saw her with Peter Pan over near POTC. She spent about five minutes talking with my dd and her Tink doll (even though there was a line) and we were able to take many pics. She even set Tink up for a group picture. I hope we get the chance to see her again.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story and I hope you can find out who she is.

What a wonderful story. It brought tears to my eyes. I hope we see her next week.
