"OUR BIG, FAT DISNEY VACATION!" Ch.26 NEW! 2/11 pg. 121 "And they lived happily ever&

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Okay, the turkey in the dryer thing - classic!!! I suggest throwing it in a hot bath with the tribal indians - this way it will be nice and clean!!!

Forget Martha Stewart, I think since her Thanksgiving prison meal, she is not so picky.

I will gladly be there, but I do not like pumpkin pie :sad2: So I will bake a Kentucky Derby Pie!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings!

In case you hadn't already been berated about it, Patrick Warburton played Puddy on Seinfeld and also did the voice of Kronk in the Emperor's New Groove. Tim Allen (of Home Improvement fame) was the voice of Buzz Lightyear in both movies.

I was going to say, since PW is my pseudo-freebie, but I looked it up online, and he is the voice of Buzz Lightyear on the TV show. So, as always, UM is funny and right!

UM, I love your Thanksgiving invite. I'd be there, but I have to roast DS's tofurkey and bring it to my brother's feast. DS is the high maintenance child (well, technically adult) you may recall from my trippie. So even when this Mama doesn't have to cook, she has to cook.

Happy Thanksgiving. We're thankful for you.

Umama - I love your family's take on luminaria.....you are so right.

Happy Thanksgiving - sorry I won't be able to be there for the tribal drumming (Sounds like Boma!) or pie garnished with whipped cream and little fingerprints - my favorite! Maybe next year. Enjoy your Martha-free-celebration!

That had to be the funniest rendition of a Thanksgiving tale I've ever read! :rotfl2:

Oh thank Gosh! I was mortified at my error :faint: ! I'm really pretty good at Disney Trivia too. I was just going to act like ncseric won a prize for finding my intentional error! Yea, that's what REALLY happened. I was just testing everyone to see if y'all were awake!!!

God Bless all of you and your families for a beautiful Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving!

I can not wait to be entertained by my extended family tomarrow. My husband's family takes complaining to a whole "nuther" level.
This otta be GOOD!

Happy Thanksgiving UtahMama! To one of the best TR writers on this board! :thumbsup2

Utahmama,

That was hilarious!!

I am visiting my mom in SC and she had never seen the DIS so I introduced her to your TR and she loved it, especially the Thanksgiving tale.

Happy Holidays!

As accompaniment to the children’s recital, I will play a recording of authentic tribal drumming. If my children should mention that I don’t own a recording of authentic tribal drumming. OR that tribal drumming sounds suspiciously like a frozen turkey in a clothes dryer, ignore them….the liars!
For this I am TRULY thankful!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I may need to remember this tip next time I make the turkey. It is always my misfortune to find the turkey mostly thawed, but that troublesome neck and giblet package still encased in a block of ice which refuses to melt. I have had more than one tug-of-war with a frozen turkey neck.

hello - hope your Thanksgiving was good. just got caught up with your trip report - wonderful as always. love it - waiting for more!!! :cheer2:

Dear UtahMama,

I want to thank you for keeping me fully occupied for most of yesterday evening and this morning! :surfweb: I don't know why I haven't been on the TR boards or how I have missed your opus up until this time.

At this point I feel wholly inadequate, having only 2 children and usually 4 adults to keep up with them. At some point during the reading of this magnificent TR I actually thought I might need another child in my life, and then snapped back into reality (mainly due to the 'first' Christmas ornament destruction of the day!) :sad2: Two is good!!

I thought I was prepared to go for a while without a WDW trip and now I have found myself with almost-tears in my eyes at the though of Wishes and a princess meal :sunny:

Keeping my eyes open for the next UMA installment....

Hoping for the TEA installment before I leave.
Utahmama I have lost track...........what day # of your vacation are we on?

Alright UM! Vacation is over, back to the TR! How is your baby, is everyone well at your house!

Currently, we are on 9/11/06. We were there 9/5-9/14. We're getting there!

So, that means 3 more days and the rest of 9/11? Did you finish 9/11? I just don't know anymore!!!

As for your frozen 22 lb turkey....at least you had it. My dog decided to take my 17 lb half-frozen turkey off the counter and have herself a feast! :scared1: An entire wing, (bones and all), half a leg and a good portion of the breast was duley devoured before we arrived back home! Luckily the store was not out of turkey's and we purchased a 20 lb half-frozen turkey the night before Thanksgiving!

....and a good time was had by all!!!! :yay: :woohoo:

Oh my Heck! I have been sitting here since 8 a.m. this morning, except for a few snack and potty breaks! You are hilarious! And you make me long for my home, which is Utah! I often use the phraze "butt crack of dawn" but people here in washington just don't get it! LOL I wish I could think of all the times I just about had an accident while reading all 102 pages of your report! See I've got a bit off a stomach bug..............I'll leave the rest to your imagination! The story of the poop on the plance just about made me have to change my undies! I have been contemplating getting me some crocs, but I have to admit I really think they are about the ugliest things, but you've almost convinced me to invest in some. And about the pins on ebay, how do you know if they are real or fake? You are such a flippin, fricken, danged, heck of a writer! (see told ya I'm from Utah) :cheer2:

Excuse me for hijacking, but did your husband win a lamp that looks like a woman's leg? Does your son want a BB gun for Christmas, but you're afraid he'll put his eye out?

I just picture those dogs tearing through the kitchen and ripping the turkey apart.

Back to you, UM.

Hey UM are you going to be a cheerleader for the WP.....whatever you call it? I just signed up to cheer for Restaurant team #1. I have no idea what they are doing, but it sounded fun.
