Thursday, February 22, 2001 - We followed our usual morning routine and we caught the bus to Animal Kingdom at 8:30. When we got there we got a fast pass for the Safari. While we were waiting for our fast pass time we went on Dinosaur twice in a row. We could not believe there wasn't more of a line. We practically walked right on. After Dinosaur we did the Safari. It was quite warm and sunny so we didn't see as many animals as the other day. Our guide was not as good as the other day either. She never stopped so we could take good pictures and she often didn't even point out the animals. After the Safari we went on Kali River Rapids. Chris and Ben both got totally soaked. They decided to go back to the hotel to change while Paul and I went to the Boardwalk. We were supposed to meet at 1:00 at the Boardwalk. They never arrived until 1:45 because they couldn't get a bus from Epcot to the Boardwalk (and they didn't have their park passes) so they had to take a bus to MGM and then the boat to the Swan. From there they ran to the Boardwalk. When they finally got to the Boardwalk we had lunch at the ESPN Club. After eating lunch we realized that we would not be hungry at 7:00 for a big dinner at O'Hana's, so I changed our reservations to 9:30. After lunch we walked over to Epcot. We saw the Living Statue in France, and we also watch the movie in France. We saw the Juggler in Italy, he was also a mime which we thought would be a good idea for Chris. Chris certainly could juggle as well as he did. After the juggler we went to watch the girl gymnasts in China. After that we decided to play miniature golf at Winter/Summerland. The first 18 holes we played on the Winter course. Paul and I won. It was so much fun that Ben and Chris really wanted to play the summer course, so we all did. This time Ben and Chris won, thanks to the last whole. Both of these were the best miniature golf courses that we have ever played. After golf we took a bus to Epcot and then the Monorail to the Polynesian for our 9:30 reservations at O'Hana's. Dinner was delicious. Ben, Chris and Paul even ate dessert. We were all stuffed. At dinner Ben realized that he left his backpack on the Monorail. We couldn't do anything about it until the next morning. From the Polynesian we had to take a bus to the Marketplace and then take a bus to Port Orleans. Another late night! Bedtime was about 11:30. Tomorrow we will do some of the things that we would like to repeat.
