Sunday, February 18, 2001 - Again Mickey woke us up at 6:30. As you can see we don't sleep much on our Disney vacations. Breakfast at the foodcourt as usual and to the bus for MGM-Disney Studio at 7:45. By the way, we love Port Orleans. Our building was the farthest from the foodcourt and pool, but it is such a small resort that it is still a very short walk. We also like being in Building 1 so that we are away from the noise of the pool. Now, back to our day. The first ride that Chris, Paul and I went on was Tower of Terror. We all love this and Paul is so proud of himself for being so brave. While we were on Tower of Terror Ben went and got 3 fast passes for RocknRoller Coaster. Paul does not do rollercoasters in the dark! This is the last time that I will do RocknRoller Coaster. It jerks my head around too much! After that we did the Hunchback of Notre Dame Show, Muppet Vision 3-D, and Indiana Jones. We had lunch at the Backlot Express. Ben, Chris and Paul went of Star Tours. While I was waiting for everyone to come out of Star Tours I heard an announcement that said that Art Garfunkel would be in front of RocknRoller Coaster at 2:00 for a ceremony to put his handprints in the cement. We decided to head over to see if we could see him. We were really lucky and we got a great view. I got some good pictures and I even got to shake his hand! At 2:45 we headed back to Port Orleans for a rest. Ben didn't want to rest so he took the boat to Downtown Disney. We met up with Ben just after 4:00. We walked around Disney West Side and had a snack before Christopher and I went to Cirque Du Soleil at 5:30. Chris is a juggler and he wants to be a circus clown, so he loves all types of circuses. The Cirque was incredible. We loved it. It is really impossible to describe. It was a ninety minute show that just flew by. After the Cirque Chris and I took the boat over to the Marketplace. We were supposed to meet Paul and Ben and go out to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Unfortunately, Ben was feeling very sick so we took the boat back to Port Orleans. I had to apoligize to the people sitting behind us on the boat because Ben was sick over the side for the whole triop back to Port Orleans. They were very understanding and hoped that he felt better soon. I was very glad that we chose the boat and not a bus! When we got back Ben went to bed, although he continued to be sick through most of the night. Paul and Chris went down to the foodcourt for dinner. They brought me us a Caesar Salad which was good, but it was difficult to eat while Ben was so sick. Tomorrow the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for the report. I can sympathise with Ben. I`ve been sick 3 out of 4 visits to WDW.

Glad you loved Cirque. DW and I may do this in Dec. From what I've read it sounds really interesting.
