We had a fabulous stay at the BCV. We were there from Oct. 17 - Oct. 30 (13 nights) in a 1 bedroom.
The line at check in was kind of long, but the CM was very friendly and welcomed us home. Our room was not ready, but she told me it would have a view of Epcot. I also double checked that it was a non-HC room and it was.
The room and view was more than I could've imagined. We looked right out at Spaceship Earth.
I was in awe! Our balcony stretched from the living room to the bedroom and there was a sliding door in each of those rooms. Everything was clean and nothing appeared to be worn (we are not very picky, though!).
We were in room 457. We were very close to the elevator that went down to the pool. We were not that far from the ice machine or the trash room. We only had HC clean our room one day as we left the privacy sign on the rest of the time (sleeping in!). We did stop a HC for additional paper products near the end of our stay.
I did not miss daily HC. I thought that I would, but it was nice to not have to worry about someone coming into the room. We threw the towels in the washer about every 3rd day or so. It was also quick and easy to run the dishwasher if we were about out of glasses.
I cooked breakfast a few mornings. It was nice to have a few scrambled eggs and biscuits and watch the sunrise over Epcot. We cooked frozen pizza a few times and my DH made popcorn with melted butter a couple of times as well. We never encountered any issues with any of the supplies in the kitchen.
The tub was just fabulous. I would have to put time limits on my DH or he would spend all day in there!! He loved it was well. I made a trip to Basin so we had bath bombs and things to use in it.
As a side note, I was not aware that the DVC discount was no longer available at World of Disney in DTD. I must have missed that one. It did work at Basin - she actually gave it to me when I paid with my room key because I forgot to give her my member card.
Overall, our trip was fabulous. I have no complaints with BCV. Our room was beautiful and our view was more than I could've hoped for!
