Has anyone ever had any experience with this before?
Last year, we went to WDW June 5-19. I had ordered 3 (2 adult, 1 child) 6 day park hoppers from UG online before we went with the intent to upgrade as soon as we arrived. On June 5, we arrived at the MK, used our park hoppers to enter, walked around for a short time, and then exited the park. After exiting, I went to Guest Relations to upgrade to annual passes and purchase my TIW card. I am a DVC member and I also had the 10% discount from a current AP Holder (which they offered last summer). The girl at Guest Relations had a REALLY difficult time upgrading me (she had problems getting the right ticket price, didn't want to give me both discounts which I KNEW she was supposed to, etc). Anyway, I never looked very closely at the expiration date on my APs--wasn't too concerned with that since there was no reason for the date to be anything other that June 5. We went back down in November with no problems.
So, a few months ago we planned a trip for next week (May 23-29) to get one more trip out of our APs. When I got them out to look at them, I noticed that the expiration date was listed at May 10 on my and my DH's passes and April 28 on my DD6. WHAT?? So, I made a phone call to the AP holder's hotline and spoke with a very friendly cast member in ticketing. She pulled up my account and said she couldn't see any reason for a different expiration date, but she couldn't make the fix over the phone and I would just need to go to Guest Relations when we arrive and they would definitely take care of it. Of course, I am panicking because I am worried they won't fix it, even though it it totally obvious that the date is wrong. What is really weird is that our three passes don't even expire the same date. Plus, I know if my park hoppers had been used prior to June 5, the date of my AP expiration would be the same date as the first use of the park hoppers. However, you can only upgrade park hoppers within 14 days of first use, so May 10 wouldn't even make sense,as June 5 is a lot more than 14 days after that! I just know the mistake was made by the original girl at Guest Relations, since she definitely seemed very inexperienced.
Anyway, has this ever happened to anyone else? I am really hoping to not have any problems getting this taken care of --we would not have planned with trip without our APs. I just really wish I had caught this last summer when we bought them!
TIA!
