wow....those flatbreads look REALLY good!! Did the margaherita one have onions on it?? I hate onions but the margaherita one looks like one i would like!
The flatbreads were really good, and luckily so after waiting 25 mins for them LOL I do think the margerhita one had onions on it but you could probably order it without onions. It was good food, I would recommend it!
Disney Quest looks fun!!! Was it busy?? I have this terrible feeling it is going to be crazy busy or something.... I think crowds will feel worse because you are crammed indoors w. ppl instead of outside... Everyone is making me a lil nervous about the virtual reality thingsss![]()
It was so fun and not busy at all. Totally not wall to wall people at all. The only thing there was a line for was the pirates of the caribbean ride and that was only because they could only let like 5 ppl on every 2 or 3 mins so the line moved slow. And even still it was only like a 10-15 min wait. Otherwise no waits and not a lot of ppl at all. As for the virtual reality things, DONT DO THE SWORD THING and if you really wanna do it, do it last. It will ruin your time at DQ! LOL Don't let Scott do it thats for sure.
this sounds just like ray on our first trip! at first he was totally mortified that i was taking pictures of food but after a couple days he was angling the plates where i could get a better shot. it was cute!
sorry you felt sick. feeling icky at disney is the worst! i hope it gets better soon.
Awww what a good hubby Ray is! How cute

Okay, after reading your update about Disney Quest, I am in sensory and auditory overload. I don't think I can ever go in there! I can never let Connor know about it either because it is the kind of place he would love to go.![]()
haha sorry to overload you CP! It's not bad just being in there but some of the rides/attractions are a little much. Connor would totally love it!
So DisneyQuest was hit and miss with you then. I'm due for a trip back. It's been two years come this Summer. We love DQ. I think my favorite ride is the POTC one. I always wanted to do the Buzz ride....it looks like fun but the kids weren't tall enough then and I didn't want to ride it with a stranger. Sidney did once. He said it was really cool. The WGPE food looks yummy. I love me a good flat bread!
DQ would have been all hit had I not felt so sick after that stupid sword game. Next time I'm going to hit the POTC ride FIRST. The Buzz thing was really fun even though we were terrible at it. We laughed so much. Hopefully the kids are tall enough for you guys to ride it this time. We'll be going back in Nov/Dec I'm sure so you guys are welcome to join!
WGPE was yummy, even though they were slow!
Aww, I'm so sorry the some of the games made you dizzy. That is not cool. If you go back to DisneyQuest next time you will have to do the pirates game. That was my favorite when I went with my fam!
I'm glad Chris is getting more and more into everything as time goes on!
Yeah, some of the games were just not for me. I realized on this trip that my stomach can't handle what it used to when I was younger...and I'm not even 22 yet! I'm going to hit the POTC thing first next time we go there because CHris said it was really fun too. He was definitely getting more into everything as each day went by, I was so happy

Aww, that is funny about Chris fixing his flatbread for your pictures.
Bummer you didn't feel too great after some of the virtual reality things. I don't know if I could handle them either...we were at Six Flags a while ago and they had this Imax-type movie that was all about aliens taking over an amusement park or something strange like that and a lot of it was like you were riding a roller coaster. It started off fine but then my entire family started feeling sick. We ended up leaving before it was over, it was that bad!
Yeah, it was cute of him to fix the food for me. Wasn't the last time he did that for me either!
The VR things were really getting to me this trip. That stinks about your family at six flags...i hate to give up on rides and stuff but when they make you sick like that it just ruins your whole day! I hope your day there wasn't ruined!
We haven't been to DQ in along time. But when we went we did pirates and jungle cruise they were both fun. We want to go back but we have two DS'S. One is 9 and the other is 3 so again someone would have to stay off with DS3. We really want to ride the Buzzlight year bumper cars Do you know if it goes by age or height? I can't remember. Sorry you didn't feel well.
I really want to try out this POTC ride now! I'm going to do it next time we're there. That stinks about having to stay off with one of the kids...I think that the Buzz ride does go by height

Oh no - I hate when I get soft serve when I wanted "hard serve" and vice versa! I'm jealous of your bounceback offer! I always see that stupid coupon on the table in my resort but never book it, so I can imagine how exciting it would be to actually take advantage of it!! That stinks that you had to wait all day for busses and for your foodAnd then when you finally got there you got motion sickness!! How sad! I have the most sensitive stomach and head to motion sickness. I get dizzy very easily which immediately turns to nausea, so I feel you pain. I'm glad your BF was still able to enjoy some of the stuff in there, though!
I was a little disappointed with the hard serve situation but that didn't stop me from eating it all up thats for sure LOL I was so excited to get a bounceback offer, I totally didn't think we would! I'm hoping we get one in Nov/Dec for next yr but my BF doesnt know that yet LOL
I never had such problems with motion sickness as I did this trip! I always have gotten car sick and still do but thats it, never on rides! It really stinks but I was happy that I didn't totally ruin it for Chris except that he had to walk around the place by himself and ride POTC with some family that wasn't his haha
It was nice to have old Genie boy greeting you!
They put you in a capsule!
They keep you in a capsule!
I would like to try the jungle cruise someday, if I ever get to DisneyQuest before they do away with it.
Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well and couldn't enjoy it like I know you wanted to.
I know it did feel good to have another trip booked, too!
MeMom, I should have known better than to post that capsule picture! We just had this conversation about snowglobes and if you can't handle them I should have realized you couldn't handle a human capsule

The jungle cruise thing was pretty cool, if you get a chance to try DQ I would suggest it. You don't have to spend a whole day there and its fun just to try. I think your boys would like it there.
OMG! I'm sorry about your insanely long wait for the bus and feeling so sick at DQ!! I hope day 5 was better!!
Thanks Melissa! Day 5 was great as you'll soon see and day 4 wasn't bad either, except at the very end there.

The Pirates ride was the VERY first thing I did there. I was fine and it didn't bother me a bit. I think if I had done one of the other things first, like the Aladdin ride or that sword thing, I may have had a different experience. Once you feel that nausea almost anything gets to ya!
I have to be really careful about what I ride, because I, just like you, get sick and then I'm not right for the next couple of hours. NO FUN!
I'd say do Pirates first. But you know better than I do what you can handle!![]()
I should have done POTC first! I totally will next time. I'm going to steer clear of the Aladdin ride and the sword thing next time. I didn't do Aladdin this time and good thing. Once I felt nauseous it was so hard to get ride of it
