Linda - I'm not supposed to be running either according to my PT, but my orthopedic doc said yesterday that as long as it's HELPING (which it is), then I can run. I do have knee problems and pain, but running and plyo actually helps them feel better, as long as I don't over do it. Now yoga, different story. My knees cannot handle planks and downward dogs and crazy yogi things! Maybe someday, but not yet.
What happened to your knee?
Hopefully all the exercises help and the pain goes away! Then I'll run again.
I've decided that Monday (the day after my birthday) I'm going to go back to much healthier eating and amp up the exercise. That'll give me 2 years to be "fit not fat at 50!" I think that's Susan's line over on the biggest loser thread! Yes, I lurk!
