After our AK day, we decided to grab a meal from the counter at Trail's End. We weren't really too sure what we were doing, and unfortunately the girl working behind the counter wasn't very friendly or helpful. My DH wanted the buffet, but I had to explain to him that was table service and we needed to use our QS credits. So anyway...
DH and I both ended up ordering the Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwich it comes topped with coleslaw, and their home-style chips. Yummy! I got the chocolate cake for dessert and DH got the apple cobbler, both were good but DH's cobbler was very heavy on the cinnamon!
ODS got Nachos, that came served with beef chili, cheddar cheese, sour cream jalapenos and salsa. He ate some of them but he didn't realize they would have all of that "stuff" on them. He likes just the chips and cheese. I don't recall what DS10 got, but I'm pretty sure the younger two kids got the Macaroni and Cheese and the PB&J. All of the kids got chocolate chip cookies for dessert and loved them.
We took the food back to our cabin, and it was quite good! If we ever go back, we would love to try the buffet as all of the food looked and smelled really good.
