I feel your pain! My last child *who will be 8 soon* was a holy terror and made me comment several times that it was good he was my last or he'd have been my only.

I'd do as others suggested with those things that can be salvaged and then silently wish when he has kids they make him crazy as well. :teeth: ;)

I am sorry though!

A parents curse, huh! I think my mom put
that curse on me when I was a child!:sunny:

Yeah I think a lot of us must have had the curse by our parents!!! My youngest *who has been my holy terror* decided one day while we were out playing fetch with our dog that it would be fun to see what the garden hose through the back door might do. Turns out in about 3 minutes he had completely doused our bed, his bed and had it going full blast in the family room. It took several days to dry the carpet out *which eventually led to us putting in laminate flooring...much easier to clean up right away* These kids are such trials when they are younger!

I second the thought of putting the bells on the fridge! I've cursed my fridge lately because it beeps 3 beeps when any door is open longer than 30 seconds at a time so it's a big pain when putting groceries away but I think it has saved us many a food spoils with doors being left open!

Just keep telling yourself this too will pass and one day you can look back and laugh with him. In the grand scheme of things this really really really stinks but you will get through it!! Keep your chin up and your sense of humor.

I would throw everything out.

We have a gate between our dining room and kitchen, so if my kids wander they can't get into the kitchen at night (where all my cleaning supplies are etc.)
