Our 2nd Trip to Disney! Did it Measure Up? (w/pics) **THE END**

Correction, I'm not caught up:rotfl:
I just noticed there are a couple more updates! I was just using your index on the first page ~ you didn't put the new ones on there yet!
I will check back in after reading the new ones;)

Now I'm officially caught up!
Wow, you guys had a great day at DHS! Glad you enjoyed Sci Fi.
Your pictures are great and your boys are so cute:cutie:
That's so funny about the pink power ranger:laughing:
Can't wait to see your condo!

Oh, no, you left me on a "Ewww!" moment! lol...

I hope you got to clean up quickly!

I do have to say, the playground (the castle part) at Windsor Hills looks strangely like one near us - it must be from the same company. Weird.

Looks like Sci-Fi was fun - I hadn't been too sure about that one, so skipped it. Maybe another time? (I'm currently thinking maybe in 2-3 years at Spring Break...)

Ewwww...runny poo in the hand!:scared: :scared: I think every parents has experienced that a few times. For me at least, it always happens on road trips! I once had a 4 yr old and an 18month old on a 2 day road trip both with diarhea!

Windsor hills looks nice..........at least the playground!

I did fall asleep when we did sounds dangerous!

Let's finish Day 3 up, shall we?

First off, this is the website for the place we stayed at:

www.5mins2disney.com

We stayed in "Fantasmic." Everyone we dealt with, from George who did the booking, to the owner himself who emailed me about the Patriots game, to the property manager were great! George is actually here on the Dis. I *think* his screenname is 5mins2disney. I highly recommend them.

We get to the townhouse and use our special code to get the keys out of the security box. And we enter.

First stop? The kitchen sink, of course!

I decided to take pictures right away before the place got messy. I have a lot of pictures of the house, so this post will be full of those.

The living room (or Great Room as they call it):

The dining area, which is in the Great Room - looking through the kitchen to the front door (my parents room for the week is there on the right, with their bathroom next to it):

The kitchen, which was equipped with everything we could need:

So, there's our home for the week. We fell in love with the place. It was so great having all of that space! We didn't end up cooking as much as I'd planned, but that was fine. And the splash pool was a huge hit as you will see on Day 4.

Shortly after we got settled in the house, Chuck left to pick up my parents from the airport. You all know what I did! That's right. Turned on the TV for the Patriots game! :)

I didn't end up watching too much in all honestly as I tried to unpack and get settled. I did manage to see them win :cool1:

My parents flight came in on time, but there was a mix up with getting their luggage so it took a bit longer for them to return to the house. After hugs were passed around, we all just relaxed, had simple soup and sandwiches for dinner, and enjoyed the company.

Up Next...Day 4 - Part 1

Your town house looks amazing! And how cool, your own splash pool!

Great updates. We really enjoyed Sci-Fi as well, though we went about 2:30 and just had shakes and onion rings. I liked that is was so quiet. It almost seemed restful. Can't wait to see what the townhouse is like. Off site is a bit tempting. So much space and so little money:goodvibes

Staying offsite was great for us, thanks to the location. If we had flown down and needed to rent a car for the week, it wouldn't have been as great a deal. And who knows what will happen next time? It all depends on where we're living at the time.

And yes. I was very surprised with how quiet it was at Sci-Fi! Very nice.

I know. I tend to do my TR "housekeeping" in bunches. I'll get the list updated soon.

No worries. Read my next update and the Ewwww moment will be over ;)

The boys look like they are having a great time! Love the face paint. I wish DS would do something like that but there is no way.:rotfl: Poor Connor with the poopy's. It's so good that he has parent's like you guys who help him to feel better about it. I LOVE the town house!!

We had such a blast in the pool! I'll talk about it on Day 4.

Thanks :)

I guess Sounds Dangerous was one of those attractions that I should have listened to the reviews. It just seems so dated. And the inside looks old and rundown. During the "show", a CM had a flashlight in the back. Is that part of the show? At first I thought it was. But, now I'm not so sure :confused3

Great pics of SciFi!:thumbsup2 We've never been, but we're planning to go for dessert as a special treat for DS8, my future Christian horror movie producer ("Mom, there aren't enough Christian horror movies...:scared1: ")

Can't wait to read about your experience at Boma. I'm trying to be good and not add another TS meal to our itinerary, but I have a feeling your PTR is going to be a bad influence on me....;)

The place looks great! More! More!

It WAS great :) I probably won't get another update up until tomorrow since I have an assignment that's due tonight (that I haven't started  ).

Christian Horror movies, eh? Interesting combo! :rotfl:

Are you interested in breakfast or dinner at Boma? We've only done breakfast.

Oh...and by the way.

I believe a :welcome: is in order? I don't think you've posted on here before? (forgive me if you have) I see in your signature that you're the author of the PTR with that great title ;)

And once again someone corrupts me to start reading another PTR! :scared:

Thanks for the welcome. I'd love you to come check out my pretrippie!

Yep, DS8 ( I think I called him DD8 before...sshh!! don't tell him I goofed!) wants to be a missionary, produce feature films about his explorations doing missionary work, AND produce Christian horror movies--the good old kind w/ monsters, no slashers, no nudies, etc.

We'd probably end up going to Boma for dinner. I've heard great things about breakkie, but I think it would be more efficient touring-wise (and I'm all about the efficiency) to head over after doing AK.

I just happened to be looking through my PTR (am the only one that loves to read through their own PTR/TR regularly? I also like to make sure I correct any mistakes ;)) and I saw that you first posted back on page 6! And I did welcome you then ;) So, you were double welcomed
