Hi Everyone! Well I was almost certain our trip back to WDW would happen for October............BUT, there is a VERY good chance I will have a teaching job when school starts again in September. This is GREAT news but it means we will not be able to go in Oct. but maybe we can go during the infamous Jersey Week! If I don't get the job we can keep our Oct. plans. Now here is the dilemma..........should I go ahead and make a room only ressie and ADR's for those 2 possible dates OR should I just wait and see? I will know for sure by August 1st whether or not I will have a position? We are looking to stay at CSR. If I am working though we might be able to afford the WL or AKL again! So what do you guys suggest?

I would go for it and book it! If you will know by August 1st that would have you out far enough of the cancellation time right? If it's room only I think you get your deposit back with no problems. I would book it and the ADR's! Good Luck to you with the job!

Seriously though.... I say go ahead and book just to be safe... or at least make ADR's for other poss time and cancel which ones you don't need...

Thanks so much! I guess I never mentioned it but I am a certified elementary school teacher here in NJ. I never worked in the public schools, only private but the money stinks! I stopped when my boys were born and never went back until this year. I substituted in our district (public) at several of the elementary schools (there are 12) so a few of the principals told me of some vacancies and I submitted my resume and have an interview in 2 weeks. It will either be 3rd grade or 5th grade!

Thanks so much! Matthew is going into 3rd grade this Sept. and it is the grade I remember the most from elementary school so if I had my choice that would be it! Thanks for the good wishes, jobs in our district are VERY hard to comeby so I feel blessed just to get an interview!

Just wanted to say good luck with your Job interview . Hope your fall plans work out. If you go in October then well be at the same resort. It was very hot last October when we went. Don't worry about November though it's a great time to go and Jersey Week is not that crazy either.
