Our 2nd Shot at the Dream Team -TONS OF PICS. 10/28 New PTR LINK

As if our trip isn't costing enough,I just read tonight about an increase in the stroller fee effective 4/6:mad: the single stroller is going from $10 to $15 dollars per day or $13 per day for length of stay OR $31 per day for a double or $27 per day for length of stay! RIDICULOUS!!!

Grrr.... that's why we just bring ours.... I hate dealing w/ any more cost than I have to.... maybe u can get lucky and get lower rate

Loved the party pictures :) Did you get the chef hats from Birthday Express? I do think we're going to do a cooking/Ratatouille theme for the boys birthday party in May.

Wow! Those stroller fees are crazy!! Hopefully the next time we go we can get by with a single (or none at all!).

Hi Diane,
Just read your post on the theme parks board about the stroller price increase. I'm a bit  too. Now it's over $150 to rent the stroller for the week. That's crazy! I thought $16 a day was robbery.

ANyway love the new shirts you bought. My DD was laughing at your toiletries picture, it's almost all exactly what I bought and had in our bag for the last trip. Love the Clorox wipes for the strollers and CS tables. ALso have to have those wet ones singles. they're the best! My ticker keeps dissapearing too. It's just the ones from the mickey clocks that have this problem.

That is my biggest issue... I just wish we had more notice! I know 110 dollars shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things but I was just shocked!

I know! I get a $5-7 increase the jump was just so drastic.

We will only rent one for Eric now. Matthew has asthma issues with exercise but hopefully we can just swap out Eric when Matthew starts to have a hard time.

Yes Carissa I had to order all the Ratatouille party supplies from birthday express because my local party stores didn't carry them.

It is a huge increase, and actually I wouldn't have cared AS much if I had some reasonable notice...that is a lot of money extra to fork over, and when you find out so close to your trip like us it was just shocking:scared1: . I am done posting on that other thread.:sad2: It has turned UGLY!

Defintely don't post there unless you want to be attacked :lmao: . Remember what happened to me. I made a tiny post and it got all turned around a few didn't like my opinion and I got flamed and called names. I had a hard time ignoring it. I will not post on heated threads anymore ;) .

What' so funny is it was posted as a price increase and is now people complaining about being run inot with the strollers :rotfl: . Also they seem to be debating the age of the children in the strollers. I'm not touching as my DD8 hopes into the double with DS. She is tiny though, on her bday they kept guessing she 6 or 5. Really though why do they care who rides in it :confused3 is it going to ruin their day???

I finally think the thread has calmed down!:goodvibes

With 2 weeks left to go I thought I would update you all on our progress!

We are officially a croc family now:rotfl: The boys have their Mickey one's that you all saw I just bought a pair of Cleo's in black and I LOVE them! Bryan finally caved and bought the scutes in brown:thumbsup2 If I get a chance this week I will post some pics!

I printed out our touring plans for each park! Commando or bust baby!:rotfl2:

Bryan and I looked at some of the counter service menus and we saw some menus that we loved that we had never tried before such as Columbia Harbor House at the MK and some of the countries in Epcot and they are great values on the dining plan:goodvibes

OK in 4 days I can view the weather for our arrival day:woohoo:

I am done shopping for clothes:rolleyes1 The best news is I will NOT be doing laundry on vacation:banana: We all have plenty of clothes to bring!

I am hoping to get called to substitute teach:teacher: a couple more days before we leave to offset the increase to our stroller budget:sad2:

On an off topic note, I live VERY close to the beach and yesterday was just gorgeous. We took the boys to the boardwalk and basked in the 60 degree weather and sunshine. We ate lunch in a restaurant that overlooked the ocean and Bryan and I each had a drink:cloud9: Matthew says this is almost as fun as being in Disney World!:goodvibes Almost but not quite:thumbsup2 Gotta love their Disney enthusiasm:goodvibes

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend!:flower3:

How exciting!!! 2 more weeks:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Yah for no laundry:woohoo:

I agree..yesterday was gorgeous.....Ds had a bday party to go to and it was so nice out...first day this year, with no jackets......just long sleeved shirts...

Kids spent half day playing outside.

I heart Columbia Harbor House. They have a really great hummus and broccoli slaw sandwich and wonderful clam chowder. Okay, now I'm hungry. Where else are you thinking of going?

Isn't that the BEST?? I love when a trip gets close enough that I can start checking on the weather obsessively. ;)

Woo hoo! I'm very excited for you all.

Thanks Kelly! I know it's silly but I am really thrilled about the no laundry!:rotfl:

Hey Amy! Long time no chat! Are you dug out from winter yet?:confused3 I sure hope so:thumbsup2 Bryan would like to try fish and chips from the UK and I thought maybe we would look into the Cantina in Mexico. We will also hit our faves....Sunshine Seasons, Cosmic Rays and Toy Story Pizza Planet!:thumbsup2 Thanks for checking in on us:goodvibes

Not silly at all:goodvibes :goodvibes

Ya wanna laugh..

On every trip, i don't feel like having to do a lot of wash beforehand

Most of our summer clothes are always washed, as I can't wear them to work

However, there is always the underwear and socks. I hate matching up socks:headache:

So, I always go out like 2 days before and buy us all brand new underwear and socks, even if we don't need any:rolleyes1

Probably why We each have like 50 pairs of underwear now

Sorry for TMI
