10 DAYS!!!!!!!


So we are beyond excited!!!! I went on the Accu Weather website and was able to see the long range forecast for the 1st 6 days of our trip.......and they look like this

4/20 Sunny high 81
4/21 Mostly Sunny high 78
4/22 Mostly sunny high 78
4/23 Partly cloudy high 78
4/24 mostly sunny high 80
4/25 partly cloudy high 77

Is that great or what? Now the key is I'm not going to hold my breath because weather predictions are notoriously flawed! But nonetheless I was thrilled to see that forecast

The talk in our house is non stop Disney the boys ask questions almost every waking moment when they're not at school. Matthew even asked me if we could go to Disney Quest between innings of his baseball game yesterday Yes ladies and gentlemen it is a one track mindset here! You know what, I LOVE IT! I can't wait to get the rest of the forecast! We finally have a sunny day here again, it hasn't been sunny since Saturday It feels great with that sunshine on my face. It was great practice for Disney!

We are basically packed, just have to print out some last minute planning tips and the "essentials" and in 10 days were outta here baby!

That is so exciting! I wish we were 10 days out. Wait, no, I am glad we're not. I am nowhere NEAR ready to go now. I have so many things on my to do list. Tomorrow will be 120 days for us. At some point, I'm going to have to get busy on the Disney planning.

I was looking for Disney weather yesterday (or was it today?!) and I couldn't remember the name of that weather website... I Googled... to no avail.
I could see only a 5-day no-detail forecast with my canadian weather website (wonderful for my town, no good for Disney!).
Accuweather is the best! Not only can I get that 15 days forecast, but I can get it in metric (celsius)!!! Altough I'm thinking I should get used to the farenheight, because the morning forecast we'll may watch on TV won't have both...

You know I would really like to have one with us but we don't NEED it for anything. I wanted to take it to download our pics. each night but we bought another memory card so now were good for about 1500 pics. if necessary!

So this is it ONE WEEK !!!!!


We told the boys this morning that we were staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and they FREAKED OUT! They were so excited and immediately started firing questions at us. What do the rooms look like? Can we see animals from our room? Can we get bunk beds? So many questions............ I felt terrible but we only booked a standard room and are hoping to be upgraded at the very least to a pool view which we are willing to pay for! So cross your fingers that we get lucky! I am unsure why bunkbeds are a big deal to them because they sleep in them everynight! Here is a picture of Eric checking out the AKL on the computer........

Anyway, I am sure most of you are familiar with the stroller situation so I went ahead and bought one for Eric to use on our trip. It is a Graco IPO and it ways about 15lbs but the best part is it has great underneath storage and very high handles to push so know bending over or being uncomfortable and Bryan thinks it is a piece of cake to fold and carry! It hold up to 55 lbs and reclines into 2 different positions and you can adjust the footrest! I am so happy not to be forking that money over to Disney Here it is....

We have a very busy week ahead which is great because it will help the time to go by faster!

The only bummer is that I think Matthew is coming down with a cold or sinus infection sooooo we are hitting the pediatrician before school in the morning! Send some pixie dust my way if you can!

I just realized I have over 1000 posts now!WOW! Also, I changed my ticker, I was getting tired of it disappearing!

I have been trying to find a stoller to buy too for our trip. The disney prices are outrageous.

Can you tell me what store you got at? I love that it has long handles. That is the most important thing to us, as we don't want to be hunched over pushing him the whole time.

It stinks as we have not used a stroler in over a year at home, but I know we have to get one at Disney as that is so much walking for little ones.


Hope Matthew feels better and I would get a script too from the Dr for Eric, just in case he comes down with whatever Matthew might have. This way you will be all set just in case

That's great that the boys were so excited about staying at AKL.

It's funny how in the end time seems to just fly by. It seems like you plan and plan and the trip is so far away and then before you know it, it's time to go. Have you looked at the forecast? (what am I saying...of course you have) We are in for some beautiful weather, if that's any indication.

I woke up this morning early because I knew I wanted to try and take Matthew to the pediatrician before school, so that if he could go to school, he would be on time if the dr. said it was OK. Well, Matthew woke up no problem and came to the kitchen to eat. I went to wake up Eric and he starts coughing, really bad and he starts to talk and he sounds terrible So needless to say I had to take them BOTH to the dr. They both have sinus infections that apparently were caused by their allergies. The dr. gave me an antibiotic for both of them So I am hoping they will be MUCH MUCH better by Sunday It's funny Eric seemed better after intitially waking up and sure enough the dr. said his was just starting

On to happier news............The weather forecast for our trip just keeps getting better! Here is a glimpse
