I am so sad that this is over. When you were upset that your trip was coming to a finale, I was upset that the trip REPORT was ending. I can't wait to hear about your Magical Gathering in May. We might just run into eachother there. My husband and I are taking our ds (2) and heading to Disney World to meet up with my parents. Maybe we will see you in the happiest place on earth. I wished I had some Benadryl to give Sis to make her drowsy.

Would I be a bad mother if I gave my kids pre-cautionary Benadryl before every flight? You are a strong woman to not have lost it on that flight. Just reading about it made me so nervous and antsy that I'm doing that laugh/bark/yelp/cackle thing right now.

I'm so sorry that the trip reports are over I have really enjoyed them. We travel with our 2 sons.DS2 is verydisabled and likes to spend all of of the flight wiggling too, only from the UK so have a 9 hour flight so we can really feel for you and Sis.

Look forward to your trip in May, our next is not until Sept.06 so we have plenty time to work out plans for the flight!!

Would I be a bad mother if I gave my kids pre-cautionary Benadryl before every flight? :

I'm curious to see what other mom's say about this. I first got the idea from our pediatrician when Boo was a young babe and we were headed out on our first flight. Though she wouldn't come out and say she recommended it, she mentioned it as something "some people do."

I've never done it, mostly because knowing my kids it would have the opposite effect and make them wired! Also, I don't like to give medicine if I can help it.

But had I had it on that flight, you can be assured Sis would have had a full dose!
