Thank you Goldi Locks for sharing your points with this special family!

Appreciate you taking the time to write about your adventures! :teeth:

DW and I just bought our SS DVC Membership and can hardly wait for our first time home! :goodvibes

The bad thing about this trip report is that it was the last one. :guilty: The enjoyment I got from reading all of them makes up for it though! :) Thank you for sharing your family's vacation...it's been a pleasure getting to "meet" all of you!

I'm very glad to know you have another trip planned soon. There is no way we are going to let you NOT do reports on that one, ya' know! :teeth:

off to neverland said:
I'm curious to see what other mom's say about this. I first got the idea from our pediatrician when Boo was a young babe and we were headed out on our first flight. Though she wouldn't come out and say she recommended it, she mentioned it as something "some people do."

I've never done it, mostly because knowing my kids it would have the opposite effect and make them wired! Also, I don't like to give medicine if I can help it.

But had I had it on that flight, you can be assured Sis would have had a full dose!

When my kids were wee ones we frequently flew between Hawaii and the mainland. Pediatrician recommeded a decongestant one hour pre-flight and four hours following the first dose. We usually gave them Dimetapp, it was the most easily tolerated taste-wise by the kids. I take it myself, as well.

Thank you very much I have enjoyed all of your reports. I enjoy trip reports that cover the magic and the reality... Yours provided me with several hours of great reading, laughing and a few tears.

Our daughter is adopted from Russia and our pediatrician "suggested" Benadryl for flying. We did not use because our 2 year old princess had the wonderful gift of falling asleep whenever she was in a moving vehicle. Slept basically the entire 20 hours we were in a plane with flying home, to this day she is now 8 she usually sleeps in a car or plane. However, her older brother is Mr. Anti-sleep and since the age of 2 has never slept in a moving vehicle, hates naps etc. Unfortunately, Benadryl did not make him sleep, he had some allergy problems and it actually seemed to perk him up (he is very contrary)

Thanks again,
Sue

Thank you so much for being so committed to finishing the reports, for telling me like it is, I loved your memories, and remembering how it is with small children

Great trip report. People here at work are looking at me like I am crazy because I keep laughing out loud. Can't wait for the May trip report. And tell Mickey that we will see him on New Years Eve.

Ely,

Just curious, how long did it take you from start to finish?

I have no idea because it seemed like it took FOREVER to write! :goodvibes :teeth:

Thank you so much for writing this report. I enjoyed it from beginning to end! :cool1:

Wow, I just finished reading all your reports from start to finish. They were SO funny and entertaining!!! Your report of Sis's growl on the bus almost had me in tears I was laughing so hard! Thank you for sharing your trip.

Well thank you for the nice long read, I really enjoyed your writing style and your kids are just lovely! So cute! I found myself reading parts to my bf, who is a big softie and loved hearing about Boo and the parade, and just all the cute things the kids said and did. While I was reading I found myself looking forward to your next trip so that I could read about it :goodvibes ! I'm wondering also how you got interested in the DVC and the story behind your purchase. Am I remembering correctly at the begining of your report you hinted that there was a good story behind that? Hopefully one day I'll be able to buy some points and stay at one of the resorts, they sure do sound wonderful!

Thanks again! :flower:

I totally enjoyed reading all your reports. You and your family are just the best. Thanks for sharing!

Your trip reports are great! I read the first few installments last night. The report of you leaving your DDE card at home must have really had an effect on me because I dreamed last night that we got to Orlando airport and went to the Alamo counter to pick up our car. When I went to get out the binder that contains our confirmations, itineray, park passes and everything, I realized I left it at home! I woke up thinking maybe I should wait til we get there to buy our passes even though they're more expensive there just so I don't accidentally forget them! Can't wait for the report of your May trip!

loved your report!!! Thank you for taking the time to jot it all down. Your lovely pontificative musings made my day! :) I feel smarter after reading your posts... :teeth: Glad you all had a great trip and I solidly agree that having children places you on a higher calm than not. And the more you have the greater the calm...I'm always amazed when I meet moms with many children (6+) and they are just AMAZINGLY serene....

Can't wait for your next trip! :)
Tara

I loved each and every installment!! I do hope you write another report for your next trip!! I look forward to reading it!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful reports! I can't wait to see the photos plus the upcoming trip! :grouphug:

What a wonderful trip report. I enjoyed reading each and every word of it. You brought tears to my eyes when talking about how your dad showed up to make you spaghetti for your birthday. It sounds like you had a magical trip, and you brought some magic to me today. Thank you. :goodvibes

Amazing trip report. I loved reading every one of them. Thank you so much for the laughs!

:-D LOVED your reports. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

I have an 3.99 yr old and we flew a few times the early years. I gave her Benedryl once and she slept! I only gave her half dose for her age, I think it just took the edge off. For the return flight. it did nothing! Kids are nuts!

Yours sound beautiful and I cannot wait to see pics. You are blessed and I thank you again for letting us in on your wonderful vacation.
