Up a bit later today , actually much later about 11.0clock, missed breakfast so had a few snacks in the room before heading down to the pool.
Stayed at the pool for a couple of hours , and then took DD over to Citywalk to see what was happening seeing it was the 4th July, plenty of activity but DD was not really inerested ,
so she wanted to go to US and go on Jimmy Nuetron and shrek, so went into the park and took her on the rides, One i nearly missed was Terminator , i had walked by it a few times and never really noticed it, so we went in to see , and thought it was really very good DD enjoyed it to, although she did not like it when all the place gets covered with smoke.
Started back to the hotel , and in Citywalk there was a contest [i think] with groups of dancers and singers , who where all very good, watched for a while but DD wanted back to the pool.
Got back and my DW i dont think had moved since we left , i asked if she was ok , turned out i woke her up she had fallen asleep, luckily she had the umbrella up and it had been cutting the sun of from her.
Done a bit of sunbathing and playing in the pool , and it was getting near dinner time , DW and DD wanted to eat at the pool , so DW had the chicken strips and i had the think its called a Fajita chilli roll which was excellent and DD had chicken.
we went and got ready, for tonight we where going to US and to see the fireworks.
Got on a few rides, but mostly just wandered through the park, looking in shops, then DW saw it ,Beetlejuice and it was just about to start, so we went in and watched the show and was very enjoyable, we then went on our way round the park got on MIB which DD loves as well as BTTF, [will get the hang of those lockers you have to use, someday].
then the fireworks started we stood at MIB and watched them ,DW doesnt like fireworks, well she says she likes them just not the bangs. the fireworks where brilliant, we then headed towards the gate, we actually should have left earlier and watched them as the crowds where a nightmare at Citywalk with the 2 parks meeting at the same time [maybe Universal should stagger the closing times with 1 park closing later than the other].
DD was feeling tired as she had not been feeling well, so went back to RPR and had a drink before going to bed ,.
Feeling a bit depressed, as this was our last night at RPR, and it is such a lovely resort , but also looking forward to our stay at POFQ, so of to bed as we have decided to go to POFQ once we checkout.
