Our 1st but not our last - Day 4 & 5

Got up this morning about 9 oclock , got coffe on and showered . We then all headed up to the Lobby for breakfast, Not sure what all we had but had a cinnamon bun with coffee and they where georgeous, plus we had coffee fefills to about 12 mid day i think. Breakfast over and it was down to the pool for a couple of hours , then me and DD headed over to IOA, DW is not to keen on the parks so we left her to some serious sunbathing.
We got the boat over, sorry dont have a picture of the boat so heres one at the beach.

On the way in i take some pictures of DD, then we head for Spiderman, this ride is Awesome , DD then spots Spiderman and we queue for a picture, Spiderman had plenty of time for the kids and joked about with DD and talked to her for a few minutes ,which i thought was nice.

Then headed to Dudley Do Rights, DD thought this was great
then it was on to Popeye and Blutos, another one DD loved ,especially when i got soaked

then i put my feet up for 10 mins ,as she played on Me Ship the Olive, think DD loved this nearly as much as the ride, soaking the people with the water canon.
Then it was over to Jurassic River Adventure, another great ride that DD and myself liked.

Starting to get tired with the heat so decided to head back to the Hotel, on the way let DD ride Caro-suess-el , then it was on the boat and back for a well earned dip in the pool to cool off.

Tonight had been planned for me , it was something i had been dreading , yes a shopping expedition,[males will know what i mean]. so we headed back to room washed and changed and it was off to Premium Outlets, where there a few hours when DW was starting to feel hungry. I had noticed Junglr Jims at the Crossroads on the way out so we headed back here for dinner.
Now while the meal was ok , i think i would have preferred a Mcdonalds, its not somewhere i would recommend and definetly not one i will be going back to eat in.
So day over back to Hotel for a well earned beer and then off to bed,
have to get up for a bit of sunbathing tomorrow, its a hard life but someones gotta do it.

Sounds like a lovely day. I love Popeye and Bluto's ride too, and haven't managed NOT to get soaked yet - we tend to do this last so we can head back and get changed straight afterwards! I was impressed with Spiderman too because he called me gorgeous!

got up about 10 oclock, all showered and got ready to head over to US.
We went and got the boat to Citywalk, we decided to get a snack as we had not had breakfast yet, so called in to Cinnabon for a bun, and boy where they nice, can recommend them . so on to US

when we got in went on Shrek again ,

when we came out there was 5 guys break dancing, and must say they where very good , watched them for a while and then headed over to the ROTM which is one of my favourites, DW is not to impressed with it [ she does not like coasters] but said she would go on it again.
WE then went on Eartquake which was ok, DD liked it, DW did a bit of shopping and then we went on Jaws ,

which we all enjoyed.
Stopped for a bite to eat and some refreshments, as we where all feeling a bit hungry, then we headed to MIB

Decided to go back to hotel for a while as we where going to IOA later .
think this was the day it rained the first since we arrived and DD thought it was great being in the pool when it was raining

We where having a late dinner tonight as we had a late lunch so onto IOA,

took DW on spiderman which she loved ,

and then DW did a bit more shopping [her favourite hobby ,next to crafting]
then went on to the water rides, which we all enjoyed even though we where soaked, ot sure about next ,but we went on Poseidon

which was very good but we where freezing after being soaked, so where glad to get back into the warmth outside.
decided to head over to Margaritaville to see if we could get a table for dinner ,

tables not available inside but had ones on the balcony outside, so had our dinner there, [i did not take notes so cannot say what we had]the dinner was good because we said we would eat here again next year when we came back, had a couple of Bahama Mamas which where excellent.
Then end of another great day at Universal so was time to head back to hotel, we had vouchers for a free cocktail at the RPR, so called into the Orchid lounge to use them,

got another Bahama Mama which was quite nice as well,[ think DW had one to many] so then it was time for bed. Could look forward to getting up a bit later in the morning as we had nothing planned for the day.

Sounds like it was an excellent day, you got on loads of rides and even time for a swim (I bet it was fun in the rain).

sorry some of the pics have doubled up will tke them off, yeah done loads of rides ,didnt take notes so not sure what days where what and some pics are from different times, able to do the rides because of staying on site and used room keys, this is worth it even to stay just 1 night, would recommend anyone to pay the extra for 1 night, .
yes DD thoughht it was great ,me i stayed under the umbrella
