I'm sorry about your friends dh. :(

The pictures are so fun! That's too cute how your dd liked the sparkly floor! :goodvibes

:faint: To that bathroom! OMG - AMAZING! From the photo, it looked like maybe there was a heart on the light in the tub? If so, wow what detail!

Thank you so much for sharing all the photos - BEAUTIFUL!

So sorry to hear of your loss, it's just terrible.

I've been enjoying your trip report very much and your children are just adorable.

WOW!!!

That is AWESOME!!

They really did think of everything, didn't they? What a gorgeous suite. Y'all were very blessed to enjoy the night there. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing it with all of us - I'm sure it's the only way we'll ever get to check it out!

And I'm sorry about your friend's loss...that's very sad.

Looking forward to more of your report!

Welcome back and I am sorry to hear of your friends husband. We were all hoping something hadn't happened to keep you away. My family will say a prayer for comfort and healing for your friend. The pics are awesome! What a magical end to a wonderful trip. We go in August and I am not expecting to even see the dream team...it would be nice but I don't want to feel disappointed :).

Thank you all for the kind thoughts. It really means alot.

Never say never about being granted a dream. They could be anywhere....a few days before our win the suite winner was at a certain water fountain in Downtown Disney. A WATER FOUNTAIN!!!

Thank you so much for your posts! You have a beautiful family! And thank you for posting your pictures, I seriously have dreams about winning a stay in the suite! It is so fun to see what it actually looks like! Oh my word, what an incredible trip!

So nice to have you back! I just knew something had happened. I will keep all in my prayers.

Your report is great! I got the biggest goose bumps reading your story and enjoying the pictures!!!! Thanks a bunch!! I have so many questions..as I am sure many do...but is there a window you can look out of over the park? And one more, did they have the wishes fireworks that night, did you stay in the suite after you arrived for the rest of the night? Please tell us MORE!!!

Best to you and your family!

It's good to have you back on the boards. I am so sorry about the accident and I have you and your friend in my prayers.
The pictures were great, I loved the update, I was trying to imagine what it would feel like to be told I was staying in the castle for a night! Amazing! I'm glad you got to have that with your family.

Windows? Yes! There were windows where our son slept. I was sure to look out of them first thing the next morning before the park opened. So cool! I really wanted to see what went on during the night...clean up, landscaping, etc. The night we stayed the park was open until 2 am and I think that is when I finally fell asleep.

Stay tuned to find out about Wishes, etc.

Disney arranged for us to have dinner at CRT at 6pm. So, from the time we arrived at the suite until dinner we took pics, relaxed and I gave the babies their bath. We were invited to be Grand Marshalls in the parade that afternoon, but had to decline because the babies were already exhausted. It would have been so cool, though. We called down to Jason at about 5:45 and he came up in the elevator to get us. We then met Daniel who escorted us to CRT. There was a long line of people waiting to get their picture taken with Cinderella. Daniel walked us right up to Cinderella to get ours taken. This felt strange because I knew the people wiating didn't know what was going on. She was beautiful and very sweet. We thanked her for letting us stay in her suite:love: She hoped that we enjoyed our time there. The manager of CRT then took us right to our table where of course there were 2 high chairs already waiting. This was our first time at CRT and service and food was excellent!

The babies were so tired, but thankfully we made it through dinner with no meltdowns:

Ds really enjoyed this dinner even though it was what he would call "a girlie restaurant":rotfl:

So, we are eating and enjoying the moment when all of a sudden the Fairy Godmother asked, "Where is the Hudgins family?" (That's us!) We raise our hands and she dances her way over to our table as she is announcing to the restaurant that we had a dream come true this evening. She exclaims, "the Hudgins family has won a night's stay in Cinderella's suite in the castle this evening!" Well, the whole restaurant gasped...loudly!! From that point on we felt like celebrities because there was always someone at our table congratulating us and asking bunches of questions.

What an incredible experience!! Ladies and gentlemen, it was just the beginning..........

When we were finished with our meal, we met Daniel downstairs. He told Ds that for the rest of the evening whatever attractions he wanted to ride we would be escorted to the front of the line with no wait! I teared up....what an amazing childhood experience for my son. So, we asked if we could run up to the suite for a moment so we could change diapers, etc. No problem! To our amazement, when we entered back into the suite the beds had been turned down and there was a little bit of magic sprinkled everywhere. Look for yourself:

Yes, she is still loving that floor (which was Disney squeaky clean) and sharing it with Mickey.

At this point, Ds was definitely on cloud 9!!! He loved his bed!

Our own glass slipper with rose petals in the bathroom! THANK YOU , JASON!

So, as you can imagine, we spent a little more time in the suite before heading back out in the park. We had about an hour and a half before we were to have VIP seats for SpectroMagic! Yes, VIP and SEATS!!! So, its about 7:30pm when we hit the park and its past bedtime for the little ones. I was hoping they would just pass out in the stroller and THEY DID!!! NICE! We did Thunder Mountain...once in the first seat and once in the last seat! POC.... in the first seat and Daniel got wet!! BTW, I totally want his job!! Actually, no one could do it better than him. He was fantastic and a pleasure to be with! Jungle Cruise, etc.!!! The parade was beautiful. We had front row seats and CM's walking by would congratulate us. Another teary moment......every single character on every single float would make sure to turn around towards our Ds and wave to him!!! He felt so special!

It was sort of hard taking pics of the parade since at this point Dh and I both were holding babies.

After the parade, we went to Tomorrowland and rode Buzz. We were there during the Wishes. We could see the fireworks, but weren't right up on them which worked out as far as the loudness factor. On the way back to the suite, Dh took this pic of hte castle. He didn't realize the moon was on there, but how perfect since we were heading back there to sleep.

More to come soon......

I am sooo turning green with envy! Those are beautiful pictures...well worth the wait. the kids are so cute!

:goodvibes Goose bumps and chills. I am so happy that your family were chosen. I can imagine your DS telling all of his friends when you got back.:goodvibes

I bet that was crazy watching Wishes and looking at the castle knowing that was where you were going to sleep that night! *goosebumps* I'm so glad you are writing a trip report about it!

so sorry to hear about your friends husband.. I wish you all well. So happy for you guys and your posts are wonderful.. I am sure reliving your experieince thru here will bring you some sort of happiness again... :goodvibes

Wow! I am so happy for you and your family. This will be one of those memories that you talk about for years to come!!! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Just one question: When you went back to the castle to go to sleep - wow!! that sounds amazing!! - you said the park was open until 2am. Were you allowed to "come and go" until then, or once you were up there, they called it a night for you? Just curious......

:)

Very good question! We were allowed to come and go as we pleased until park closing. So, how lucky were us to be chosen on such a night where the park would be open so late. Unfortunately, we had to call it a night after Wishes. Daniel was ours until park closing. Remember, this was the last night of our vacation so we had planned to leave Orlando around 6am for our 12 hour drive home. This departure time was obviously changed and it was worth it!!!

Maybe my Dh didn't notice the moon and star on the castle, but I did. Afterall, I couldn't keep my eyes off of the castle the entire walk back. For me, it was like the castle was calling us. It knew it was time for us to turn in! The amount of people at the park that night was massive! Daniel got us through the crowds with no problem. When we approached the castle, there was a rope up at the entrance of the ramp. There was a crowd of people waiting behind the rope...I'm assuming for a show of some sort:confused3 When the CM standing at the rope saw Daniel and us coming she told everyone to stand aside, then dropped the rope for us! WHAT A FEELING THAT WAS!!!!!!! As we continued up the ramp, we could hear people whispering, "Who are they? What are they doing?" As Jason and Daniel escorted us up the elevator, they asked if there was anything we needed. This was the moment I requested milk for my babies. A few moments later Jason came up in the elevator with the milk. I could get used to treatment like that:thumbsup2 We changed the twins into their sleepers and they didn't even wake up! Dh and I decided to each sleep w/ a baby. We had been offered 2 cribs, but we just felt the babies would feel more comfortable in a new place sleeping with us. The time that I did sleep that night was the best sleep of my life:cloud9: I surely felt like I was sleeping on a cloud of cotton:love: Not to mention the very high thread count linens that snuggled me. I miss that:rolleyes:
