Our 13 Mos. Old Twins, Easter Wk & A Night in the Castle Magical Trip LASTUPDATE 6/5

I'm so so sorry about your friends husband. What a tragedy. Hopefully she has lots of friends and family nearby that can help her during this difficult time.

Thank you so much for coming back and updating your TR. It's so exciting that you won the castle stay, and your pictures are great. I had to laugh when you mention the breakable things in the castle suite. Total mommy thing to think! :)

Glad you're doing well, looking forward to the rest of your TR.

So sorry about your friends DH

What a great surprise, and they had thought of everything can't wait to hear more :goodvibes

Maybe they lost the photos after that nap the other day?popcorn::

Ok, this made me laugh out loud. So much that my Ds came in the office and told me he hasn't heard me laugh like that in weeks:)

Wasn't naptime like 2 days ago??
:surfweb:
Whew, after 3 weeks they are finally taking another nap so I can post again:lmao: :lmao:

hmmmmm, we seem to be waiting an awfully long time for these pictures.

Beginning to wonder about these photos!

Were you all doubting me??? Sadly, I'm sure there are sick people out there in cyberspace that would try to pull one over on everybody, but I don't have time in my life for that:rotfl2:

Maybe they went back to Disney for another week :)......

I wish:love:

I am giving up on this post. If she comes back....someone come get me!

Quick, somebody go get her!!!

Just knew something bad had happened. So sorry it was
such terrible news. Thoughts for your friend:hug:
The castle stay sounds heavenly! What a magical
moment for you and your family. Can't wait to hear
more! I bet you couldn't believe it happened to you!!:cutie:

Ok, I'll concentrate on the bathroom now since it was my favorite part.

The tub was more like a 4x4 pool. It had all the great jets, but of course it had its magical touches, too. There were lights that kept changing colors so naturally the water would change colors. The ceiling above the tub was a gorgeous night sky with twinkling stars!! The walls surrounding the tub had beautiful mosaics. I don't want to forget the four columns.

Here is a pic from the entrance of the bathroom. Notice the floor is mosaic tile, as well.

The sink area: Notice the stained glass.

Here is the same stained glass from the other side. It was in the shower.

The shower was again mosaic tile. The shower heads (yes, heads) were to die for.

mom2jcc, my heart goes out to you and your friend. :grouphug: I was just recently in your position, too. Please know that you’re all in my thoughts.

We had one hour to throw everything together that we needed. I started to panic that I would forget something that we needed for the twins. It's not like we could run to the store in the middle of the night.
Oh, I’d have been in full-on panic mode! It takes WEEKS to get a packing plan in place for a little WDW adventure – how could you possibly be expected to figure it out in an hour?!

Okay, I won’t quote it all, but I am SO impressed with how well Disney handled everything for you! I mean, let’s be honest – “efficiency” isn’t generally Disney’s strong-point, right? But the car seats, stroller, butler – I’m very VERY impressed! And. So excited for you!!

Those are gorgeous pictures..What time did you have to leave?
:tiptoe: :tiptoe: I think I would have be dragged out.:cloud9:

I'm so sorry for your loss! I know how hard that can be when it happens so unexpectantly!
Back to the trip: I got those butterflies in my stomach and was all excited reading about you getting ready for the Castle suite! Thanks for the pictures as well! I can't believe that mirror was the t.v.!

Oh what a wonderful tub!! I love to soak in a bath. One of my most relaxing things to do.:cool1:

So sorry about your friend, but thankful that there was nothing wrong with you and your sweet family. Love the installment and all the pictures!

Thank you for the wonderful updates. My DD6 loves the pictures of the suite. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend's husband. I am glad that you and your family could be there for her.

So sorry for your friend's loss.... What a great friend you are to help out in her time of need...:grouphug:
Absolutely LOVED your installment... I had chills....The carseats, the double stroller, keeping the kiddos busy while you & DH got through the "formalities". Loved everything about it. Can't wait to hear the rest. (But only when you have time!)

Today it seems as though I have a few minutes here and there so I am trying to post my butt off since I feel just absolutely horrible about how long everybody waited on me.

This is the fireplace opposite from the beds. The fire is fake, but looks real, and even SOUNDS real. Yes, it crackled and popped! I was so happy to learn it was fake for safety purposes. The kicker......we could turn it off with the touch of a remote. The plasma above had the Cinderella movie playing as we entered the room. I'm telling you that I felt her presence!! As for all the breakable items, most were glued down.

The above pic is Dd on the floor. She was completely mesmerized by this floor. It sparkled!!! Let me tell you, I got up in the middle of the night and it still sparkled in the dark. MAGICAL!!!!

Goodness, you have been so very busy & with so much on your mind... you poor thing. What a wonderful friend you are to help, at such a time of loss. I am sure your efforts have be very appreciated.

The boards will always wait. Family, friends and yourself are the most important things... You have your priorities in the correct order.

Thank you for being so detailed in your explanation of exactly how the day was won, all of the steps that they take to get you to the castle and the wonderful detailed photos. I have been wondering so much about how it all happens and you have answered many of my questions.

I was so impressed with the car pulling up with carseats already installed. I got a tears in my eyes and chills just thinking how exciting it would be to experience.

Thank you again. I look forward to hearing more.

Thank you so much for your trip report. I was just there, didn't win any dreams, still had a great trip though:cool1:

Thanks for sharing your story and pictures. This takes a lot of time and I know all of us on the DISboards really really appreciate it. For me, it helps with my Disney addiction until I can get back again.

Woo hoo!!!!!!!! So happy for you and your family.

My condolences to you and your friends family in their loss.:guilty:

I too, feared something bad had happened to you and figured one of the kids had gotten sick. So sorry to hear about your friend. What a horrible thing to happen.

Thanks so much for the beautiful pics. We leave tomorrow and hit the parks on Saturday. I hope I don't ruin the trip by always being on the lookout for the *Dream Team*.

I'm still at a crossroads in my recovery. I'm going to have to use a chair, as I can't walk across the kitchen without being in pain. This trip means so much to me, I just hope I'm not miserable the whole time.

SO EXCITED to see that your back. Sad to hear about the accident! Very sad! I love when you said you woke up in the middle of the night and the floor still sparkled!!!! Gave me chills I wouldnt have slept all night! Can't wait to hear more!!!!!
