Our 13 Mos. Old Twins, Easter Wk & A Night in the Castle Magical Trip LASTUPDATE 6/5

Ah Ha! And you were wonderful with him!! Thank you! Disney really knows families....you just took us right under your wings and made us feel at home:thumbsup2 Welcome to the Dis...hope we meet again either through cyberspace or at Disney!

My pleasure.

Okay, I promised myself "No new TR subscriptions till you get back from your trip".... but I couldn't help opening yours, just for a peek ;) Then I saw this:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
You guys looked great!

And, ahh, the days of WDW diaper changes. I'd almost forgotten about that particular joy!

Looking forward to more! popcorn::

Welcome, V!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have you to thank for the "Focker Watch" shirt findings:thumbsup2 Wish I could have gotten the Focker Croc during the trip, but I didn't sign up on purpose due to already having to keep up with 1/2 dozen stuffed animals on the trip. Have fun at the World!!! Can't wait to read all about it:)

Yay - an update! Hope you had fun on your field trip to the alligator farm!

Very cute pics - I really love the one with your dd crying and your ds having his finger on his mouth like "hhhhmmmmmm". Very sweet! In our case, it would've been because one twin had either pinched, poked, bite or yanked the hair of the other one!

Lovin' the limey shirts and matching bag - very good DIS'er! :)

Yes, he's was going HHHHmmmmm since his daddy was feeding him ice cream. I'm glad we went with the shirts and baggalini idea because it was very easy spotting my Ds and my Dh.

Great update!

I love the lime green tees with the robert deniro hand gesture:rotfl:

Props to your DH for handling the LG Bagallini!:thumbsup2
Yeah, I wasn't sure if he would wear the bag or not and the first morning he just took it from me and that was it!!!

I'm a member of the Studios' Squad, hence my screen name. I guess it is okay to tell you that my name is Kathy. I am rather new to the Dream Squad. In fact your family was one of my first BIG Disney Dream Sweepstakes giveaways. We all thought your family was wonderful and were truly honored to award this stay to the family of someone who's makes a living defending our country. I think it is very sweet that your seven year old wants to be just like dad! (He doesn't talk much but he did tell me that). I, like everyone else, can't wait to hear all about your evening in the castle!

You are so kind! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Kathy W.

Can a TRIPLET mom join in? I promise to behave! Can't wait to hear more.
Barb

Come on in, fellow multiple momma!! Boy, would I like to sit and have a cup of coffee with you:)

Boy do I remember those diaper changing days. I am so happy they are over. I can recall changing one baby and thinking okay we are on our way, and then realizing the other needed to be changed. Like clockwork they were.

I can't wait to hear how the castle stay was. I think if anyone deserved a little luxery, it was you.

Hope I can finish before my sweeties wake up from their afternoon snooze time.
First, noticed my additional typos and there will probably be more:lmao: .........I apologize again!
Second, we ended our day around 2ish and went back to the resort so Dh could lie down (still feeling funny) and Ds could swim. His swim didn't last too long because it was a little chilly outside. We had ADR's for O'Hana's at 5:00, Dh seemed to be feeling worse so I had to cancel. Now, I was one of those people who made our ADR's at 180 days out so this was hard for me to cancel....but, would never drag my Dh somewhere when he is feeling bad. So, we ordered room service instead which was good and too easy! Ordering room service could get addicting.
Now ending our day without doing Test Track, Soarin, and so much more has changed our week's schedule a little especially since we weren't going back to the parks in the evenings due to babies' normal bedtime. I wasn't quite in panic mode yet since we still had 5 days.

Next Installment:
But, Day 2 really DID mess up the schedule.......So we thought!

Yes, yes, yes!! That is why I was having a meltdown about not getting to see everything our Ds7 wanted to this trip. After the whole Dd poop diaper explosion, I just knew Ds would be next. Afterall, that is how it happens at home:rotfl: I'm laughing about it now.

Great Update!! :thumbsup2

Your kids are so cute.

Looking forward to reading more!

Your kids are adorable. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of your trip report. DH and I recently found out we're expecting fraternal twins (hoping for boy/girl!) and I know we'll be wanting to go back to WDW around the 12/13 month mark (Yeah, I'm a planner!). :thumbsup2

I'm also excited to read about your castle stay! :woohoo:

Your babies are so cute and pudgy! I just LOVE pudgy babies!

Sorry about all your craptastrophes! We have had our share of those in the past! Thankfully, my youngest(2) is almost totally trained so our next trip will be our first without ANY diapers! Until the new baby gets here.

Can't wait to hear more!

Now I don't know about anyone else's babies, but as soon as mine see me fixing a bottle, they scream and cry like I'm going to give it to 2 other babies or something

:lmao: :rotfl: I know I know, what's with that??!! :lmao:

Can't wait to read more... popcorn::

Lovin' your TR!! Your kids are adorable!! I would love to drive but not brave enough (it would be from MN), and I do know the "La La La, Elmo's World" music all too well!!! Been there, done that, I think I have it stuck in my head now...:upsidedow

This is my first TR I'm actually subscribing too, but have read a couple others. I'm so where you were a year ago. We are planning on going next May when dd will be 15mos old. I will have ds6, dd4, and dd15mos. I've already spent the last 4wks sucking up every little piece of info. I can to figure out the best way to do Disney, and now I've found the TR's. :thumbsup2

You childern are all so adorable, and I can't wait to hear how the rest of your week goes and especially your stay at Cindy's Castle.

More, More, More...(Oh wait, now I'm probably starting to sound like the kids, sorry.:rotfl:  ) Ahemmmm, ahemmm..continue on please. popcorn::

Today we hope to get off to a better and EARLIER start. Today was MK day:cool1: It wasn't an EMH morning, but we couldn't wait another day to get to the our favorite park. So, the alarm goes off and I'm waking up and..... not feeling so good:confused: This is not happening:sad2: Tell me I am still asleep and having a horrible nightmare that on day two I am now the one who "feels funny". Please tell me that after 9 months of obsessing and planning that I am not sick:sad2: Oh, but I am awake and the room is spinning:sick: What else can go wrong? We are already behind schedule, I decided on 6 day hoppers just so we WOULDN'T get behind schedule. Thank goodness we did not have 4 day hoppers because if we did we would have 2 1/2 days to cover 3 1/2 parks at this point:mad: Okay, now I'm mad:mad: I go to the bathroom....now I become :sad1: OUr DS7 has gotten to do hardly any attractions since arriving....I can't ruin another vacation day. So, I'm still in the bathroom trying to figure out a plan...do I go to MK and just vomit my way through the park...ah....NO! Do I insist on DH taking DS w/o me....ah...YES! Ok, I'm coming out of the bathroom to announce the plan of the day...why me?...cause I'm the Disney boss:rotfl: Before I can say anything, DH and DS announce to ME that it is pouring rain outside and it will last until around noon. THIS IS GOOD! Mother Nature is the reason we all can't go to MK. So, now I have at least a few hours to get straight....Honey, hand over that Pepto bottlepirate:

The rain has stopped and I am feeling a little better. So, the guys talk me into going with them, but I promise to go back to the resort if I can't handle it. So, arriving at MK at around 2pm not a super good thing to do, but we were desperate to get some attractions in. The Mountains were all out of FP's and had again 2 hour waits. We decide to do Haunted Mansion since it had a 30 minute wait. We are standing in line and DH and I each are holding a baby and I feel as though I am about to tip over. It took everything in me to hold my little girl. If I make it through this ride, it will be a miracle! We did the ride and twin DS liked it, but DD was scared to death wiggling all over the place (I don't think she liked the darkness) this was expected since I was the one holding her and was feeling sick. We get off the ride and walk through Fantasyland...oh, I mean bump our way through....never seen so many people in my life! I couldn't handle anymore and I sure could not stand in a 50 minute Peter Pan line holding a child. So, I told DH and DS to stay as long as they wanted and I was going to rest at the resort and let the kiddos run around to get some exercise. So, DH and DS got to actually ride Thunder Mountain and POC which I was happy. Kicking back at the resort actually helped me alot and I was determined to make our ADR at Chef Mickey's that evening. We made it and had a fabulous dinner! I mean it really was wonderful..the food, characters, entertainment:thumbsup2 This was our first time there and we will definitely make it priority every trip. DS had a ball and even the little ones were super happy and content with all the surroundings. I highly recommend Chef Mickey's for families with babies!! And those mashed potatoes were the ultimate best!!! I had prime rib and DH had salmon...very impressive:cool2: Here are some pics of CM:

I can't believe I just put pictures of me on the internet with NO MAKEUP! But, guess what? I didn't even get the makeup out of the bag the whole entire trip. No time:confused3

After Chef Mickey's we went back to the resort for some down time before bedtime;) In other words, get it out of your systems, kids;)

Let me back up. Here are a couple pics of MK that day. There wasn't much picture taking since I was feeling so bad.

DS got these Mickey Ears when we first got to MK. And he thought these were the only pair of Mickey Ears he was getting this trip...heck, so did we;)

Alright, so now that our week's schedule is messed up due to sickness, unfortunately the remaining park days are all out of order:sad2: But, wait just a minute....... if we hadn't been sick then we would not have been at the "magical location" on that specific day at that specific time, right?? Your getting the picture:coffee: Would I have been sick all over again to end the week the way we did???? YES, INDEED!!!! This vacation has started off bumpy, but ends on:cloud9:
