Our 1 nighter at Yacht Club

And it was fantastic!!! I posted the other day saying we were going last minute for one night and if I should choose YC or Swan/Dolphin and I am SOOO glad we chose YC. We booked a standard room but ended up at the far end looking at a pretty canal which was right across from the Boardwalk.... right out the door to the boats to MGM and Epcot. We loved LOVED the pool and spent alot of the time there. We also ran into Beaches & Cream this afternoon for a huge brownie sundae. Had a great time at PI last night and went to Epcot/MGM and the pool again today before heading home which was a nightmare, it stormed with amazing lightening ALLLLLLL the way home. Which should have been a 2 1/2 hour drive ended up being 4 hours and 45 minutes... yikes. Anyway, dh and I had a great time and are looking forward to our trip in October with the kiddoes. Now, where to stay? LOL.

We also love the YC!!! We were there for 9 nights back in June after 1 night at AKL (which I also liked).

YC is now my favorite! It would be very hard to go back to Disney and not stay there again.

Although we booked a standard room, we were upgraded and given a room overlooking the marina and boardwalk. It was awesome!!! We sat on our balcony at least 5 of the nights we were there watching the fireworks at Epcot, the Studios (they were having special fireworks a few nights we were there), and we could even see the fireworks at PI!!!

Our room was very comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and everything was spotlessly clean!!! Like I said, it will be hard to think of going to Disney and staying anywhere else!!!

The YC is my FAVORITE resort, that place is just somethin special and we have stayed at all of the Disney hotels, it is beautiful and luxurious, location is great, service we have had there has been the absolute best AND THAT POOL!!!! Gotta love it! The BC is great too, and would stay there in a heartbeat as well, but I just have a special thing for the YC. SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED YOUR STAY!!! And glad you made it home safely, sounds like a scary storm!
