Our 08-08-08 Trip, with a Stay in Tina’s RV

Did you add no expiration to those tickets that your in laws couldn't use? At least then it wouldn't be a complete waste of tickets...

Not sure I'm understanding you; are you asking if they bought the tickets with the no-expiration option, or are you asking if they added no-expiration to the tickets after realizing they could not use all the days, i.e. after their first use but before their expiration. If the latter, can you do that? If so that is great information to know.

I'm pretty sure you can add the no expiration option to your tickets if you do so before they expire..naturally. In her in-laws situation it would have been something to consider if they ever intended to go again...especially with so many days left on them. I guess if they don't have plans to use them again, it wouldn't make sense to add to the expense.

And the mood I was in, it was a good thing that AAA lady was a safe distance away over the phone line, 'cause lemons weren't all I wanted to stomp!

:rotfl2:

For your next trip consider using Rhonda, our lovely moderator, and Dreams Unlimited Travel. She is great to work with, know all about us and Disney and can secure all the discounts, like AAA, you qualify for.

We *loved* your light, and it really inspired my dh to make one for us. Unfortunately, we have no plans for FW for at least a year and a half :sad1:, so I won't get to use it anytime soon, unless I plug it in at some non-Disney campground!

We looked for you twice, but you must have been off playing somewhere else. Hope you had a great trip!

I'm surprised you missed us. We were coming off a 4-day Disney cruise and DW was having a problem with her foot so we spent more time at FW than the parks this visit. Have DH make you a Mickey light anyways. I found it to be a fun little project. Now that the first one is made I'm thinking of improvements for the next one. Also, I use it everywhere we go so it reminds me of FW.

Here is 4th of July Mickey at Cherrystone CG on VA's Eastern Shore.

Some folks use their Micky light at home.

Sounds like overall you had a nice trip! We arrived on 8-18 in the 200 loop and we loved the 200 loop as well. And on "Fay Day", 8-19 we were in the MK which was not crowded either...we walked on almost every ride. It was one of the best days of our vacation...thanks Fay! Of course after that it got a little soggy....

Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your pics!!

What was tacky about the decorations? I walked through 100 loop and there was ONE on the end that was quite decorated but i didn't think it was that bad. was it that they had too much junk out?

glad to hear about tina's RV accommodations. My sister wants to keep that in mind in the future.

Hi Donna!
I've been reading the Camping boards ever since you sent me the link. I have gotten so much good information here. Still no RV for us, but we are going to an RV show in a few weeks, so hopefully we will get a better idea of what we want. You'll be one of the first ones I tell when we get one. :)

Sue,
I am so glad you had a good time. I try to provide the things I like when I am camping. So basically I just leave my stuff on the trailer!

Chris,
Thanks for posting the pictures of the light post. That is going to be Darrells next project. I totally forgot to ask him to make me a Mickey Light.

Hey holly! glad you ventured over to this board. You will get alot of information here. I can't wait to see what you get; you'll have to give me a virtual tour, lol. You will be overwhelmed at the RV show but take your time, you will find something eventually! I promise you won't be sorry!
