My dad wanted me to ask if anyone new how the campgrounds at WDW are. He owns an R.V. and him, my stepmom, and sister was thinking about staying there. Will they still have use of WDW transportation and have all the other perks? If anyone has done this let me know your experience.

FW is a first rate campground. In addition to all of the perks other resort guests enjoy, FW also has horseback riding, pony rides, carriage rides, petting zoo, HDDR, and more. Transportation to the parks is via boat to the MK, or bus to the other parks. Check out the DIS "Camping at DisneyWorld" board for lots of info!

Hey there, I hope this site helps you out and all who are thinking of staying at Fort Wilderness. http://home.hiwaay.net/~jlspence/faq_fw.htm

I have never stayed there with an RV, only the Cabins, but this site has a great deal of information.

I agree, Fort Wilderness is a First Class camp ground and you and your family should be able to have a great time.
