Two weeks ago I broke my baby toe. Can't wear shoes, socks and sandles. If it was summer that would be fine but winter is here and there talking about 18 inches of snow.

To make matters worst the toe is starting to heal, swelling is starting to sub-side. Don't I go and bang it again. Ouch! Ouch! Double Ouch!

It is now double the size, and a disgusting color of Black-Blue and Yellow.

Tie me up in a chair somewhere and release me when it spring. Because I'm a danger too myself.

Yeowwww! I broke my baby toe two summers ago, and know how much it smarts!:headache: Sending some  your way!

Come down here to Florida until it's healed and write it off as a medical expense! :teeth:

Hope it does heal fast!

While it wasn't my baby toe, it was the toe next to it that I broke when I was two week away from having my daughter. In my pregnant clumsy state, I was trying to get my cat out of the pantry, so I shooed him away with my foot...and smacked and caught that toe on the edge of the wall. I have NEVER felt pain like that before (then came childbirth...yikes!). My entire foot swelled up, was black/blue/yellow; worst off, I couldn't take any aspirin or medication to help with the pain, because Madison had reactions to anything I took. Then the next morning, I caught a horrible cold, and couldn't take cold medication! When I went in for my checkup, I asked for crutches because it was agony trying to walk, but because I was so pregnant, they didn't want to risk me being on crutches.

Of course, all of this happened during race season and the racing merchandise trailers were in town (at the time I worked right across the street from Daytona International Speedway). I tried my hardest to walk around and see the trailers, but it was too much.

Coincidentally, that's the only bone I've ever broken. It's still kinda big and crooked to this day :) Blah! :)

I did the same thing on November 19th! (I can remember the day because it was the day before my birthday!)

It's just now getting to the point where I can wear shoes other than sneakers comfortably. It took what seemed like a long time to get to this point! It's still bigger than my other toe in comparison, but the bruising went away within 3 days.
