Man o man....What big change to the Cinderella breakfast...Glad I have already been 3 times.

We are planning for May and if I took myself,DD and Nephew it would be $85.97 for BREAKFAST!!! :confused3 My Cousin and her girls wanted us to go,but I think we will pass this trip.

That is just crazy.....I guess as long as people are willing to pay they can keep raising the prices.

Plus I was told we would have to pay in full now. We need to call on 12-2 in order to secure a time.

I think I will try the new Ohana Character breakfast instead.

I told my Cousin to take her little one princess: since it is her first time, but I will just meet them later in the park.. :teeth:

I've never eaten in the Castle and was planning to this upcoming trip. However for our family of 2 adults, 4 children, our bill would be like $131 just for breakfast. Not to mention I really don't see anything on the menu that I would love to eat. Guess we will have to pass, lol!

This past July at Cindy's, wife, (10 yer old daughter treated as an adult - don't get me started) and I had VERY average eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, OJ Cokes and milk. $83 with tip. Vacationing in Florida and the OJ wasn't even fresh squeezed. I realize we're paying for the entertainment, but there needs to be a little quality for those who the entertainment is not directed towards.

Holy crap! I've been to CRT breakfast twice and probably won't do it again. The food was okay but it wasn't all that, and while princess interaction was fun, it's not worth that price for adults. I can do really well at Jiko for that.

That's really it. What's been truly ridiculous is that it has been so impossible to get reservations there, unless you had the fastest fingers on precisely the right day, three months prior. This price increase should address that problem.

I still think a $10 increase is a little strong, but heck, I have no idea how many people they have had to say No to up until now.

We were going to go in Jan., but I absolutely refuse to go now! I understand about having to raise prices but this is ridiculous!!!

Try the Crystal Palace for breakfast - it was fabulous, delicious, loads of offerings, friendly waitstaff, but alas, no Cinderella, but there was Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, Pigley, Eeyore. They were great. It was a lot cheaper than Cindy's, that's for sure. That meal carried my husband and myself well into the late afternoon. We were stuffed!!

FYI - the price increase goes into effect Feb 1.

We went to breakfast there 5 years ago and the food was great. We went 10 months ago and the food was not good....nothing tasted fresh and a request for different bread because of an allergy was not met with a very cheerful reply.

We used the vouchers that used to be available for for 2 of us it was only $30 or so. If I'd paid $100 I would have been very disappointed.

I think the Princess Room in Toontown just got more appealing ;) At least I had the chance to do the breakfast once, but at those prices, never again.

I guess as long as there are people willing to pay, they will always increase prices....with the constant increasing prices...the dining plan makes it easier!

That's pretty much the plain truth. People have been willing to pay the price even before this - and to wake up at the crack of dawn to call and get a coveted table. And there will still be people who will pay. Time will tell if this will last (based on the popularity).

I don't have any children yet, but I don't think I'd spend that much on a breakfast. And definitely not want to prepay it. It just doesn't appeal to me. Now, dinner - yes, I would pay the new prices.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow! I guess I was pretty lucky! We were at WL during the last week of Oct, and I called one afternoon and got a 9:45 AR for Cindy's breakfast. We had the dining plan. My 70 yr. old father was visiting WDW for the 1st time, so it was neat to take him inside of the castle. The food was typical breakfast eats, but the croissants and strawberry orange jam were wonderful! There was also some sort of pastry on the plate that was very yummy. What was really nice was that the characters spent so much time with us, especially Cindy and the Fairy Godmother downstairs. The dining plan really made some special meals like this accessible to us on this trip! :flower:

We have been once before, and are going again during our January trip. But our February trip with friends (a measly ONE week after the change) has made us rethink CRT. We told our friends it was not worth $100 for breakfast... we're doing PSB instead. (Wonder how long before changes come to that?) When I've had an outstanding meal at CA Grill, including appys, entrees, desserts, wine and tip for $120...I just can't see paying $100 for breakfast. DH and I were not huge fans of PSB the one time we were there, but we're willing to give it another chance!
