We get to travel quite a bit. We frequently travel by car. Our adult kids have turned the tables on us and want us to call them and let them know we "made it" to where ever. We use foursquare to post where we are. That way we don't have to make 4-5 phones calls every night to say.....we're fine....we're staying here. The other thing one of our daughters does is she has a map of the US in the kids room. When we travel they follow our trip with our updates.
