Other side of Vistana

We are going to Vistana for 9/22-29. We have previously stayed in the Springs and Cascades. We love it there. I was thinking about requesting the other side this time (Lakes or Fountains) this time. We have been over there for the pool, but never really spent much time over there. Tell me about that side of Vistana.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to try Vistana again for the right price. (We were on a timeshare preview for 3 nights for $50)

We stayed in Lakes last month. It's quieter over that side and the pools were very quiet. The 2-bed was excellent - the photos above are very typical. We stayed in 1931 overlooking a lake - very private. However, we tended to drive over and spend time at the Superpool and to get Internet access at Zimmies and, of course, the General Store is on that side. I originally requested Cascades but, as long as you have a car, I don't think you'll be disappointed with lakes.

We prefer the "other side". We're owners in the Fountains. Find it more quiet and less car traffic. Cascade area seems to be one of the busiest every time we go over there. Granted the General Store/Pizza Hut is on the Cascades side as well as Zimmies restaurant. The Fountains/Lakes side has the Flamingo Cafe restaurant and bar.

The pics shown above are of a Lakes villa. They are newer than the Fountains. Fountains I is older and has the whirlpool tub in the master bathroom. Fountains II has the jacuzzi in the master bedroom (same as Lakes and Cascades).

The pictures look very nice. We are hoping to trade into vistana in 2007. We love the resort.
