Other March goers.....

We'll be there March 11-18. We've never been in March. Anyone have any idea what the crowds will be like? See you there!

YesI'mObsessed...I am too!!!! My husband wants me to get off of the computer already and stop thinking about Disney!!! But the planning is half the fun isn't it?!?! Only 31 more days until we leave!!

And YES...we'll be seeing you at Chef Mickey's as our reservations are also for 5:40...too funny! Hopefully the kids will still have the energy after the day at MGM.

:thumbsup2 My husband, 2 children, mom and dad, my brother and soon to be wife, and myself will be in Disney this year March 22 (my birthday) - March 29!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :cheer2: :cheer2:

I just can't wait!!!

It's so funny to see how many people from the Metro DC and surrounding areas are going at the same time.

I wish we were going to Chef Mickey's with everyone else! :) We saved that one until our last night.

We'll be in AK on Saturday, EPCOT on Sunday, MGM on Monday, Tuesday is MK, Wednesday is EPCOT, Thursday we're back at AK, Friday we were heading to MK but we may change that one :), then we're pretty free to do what we want Saturday and Sunday.

At some point I want to hit a couple of the outlet malls! So if there are any mommies out there that want to leave the daddies with the little ones and escape I'll be at Pop Century. :)

We're going in March but we'll arrive the 17th. I've got most of my plans done. We're going with a big group. I've got all dinner reservations done. I've even decided on which park we will do the 1st day (MGM because of the time we get there and reservations) and Animal Kingdom on Monday. As for the others, I'm not sure.

We'll be there 19 -25. Staying at OKW. Our plans are AK Monday, Breakfast at Ohana Tuesday then off to the MK, Epcot Wednesday then MGM Thursday. We're thinking about the movie night at Fort Wilderness sometime.

Wear some green and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Okay, someone tell me about this ESPN the Weekend at MGM. DH is a huge sports fan. What are the crowds like, anything special going on. This might have to be our Sunday park. We plan to do one park per day, we are die hard theme parkers - there when they open, don't leave until they close. :teeth:

We know someone who works at Wide World of Sports and she said that the crowds are not much worse on this weekend. There is a link www.espntheweekend.com that tells some of the details. There are ESPN broadcasts...sports stars in the parade...a few special "contest" type games I think. Don't know if there will be much for our kids (ages 8 & 4) but at least my husband will enjoy it!

Yep, we're in the DC metro area too! But I can't wait to be in the Mickey metro area at least for 10 days!

Our trip actually starts in Feb. so I guess it's off topic for this thread, but it will be
2/25 Arrive and Chef Mickeys Dinner,
2/26 AK, 2/27 Early ADR at CP and MK and dinner at WCC
2/28, Day of Rest, 3/1 Epcot, the grandparents are doing Around the World on a Segway Tour, maybe some place else in the PM,
3/2 Pirate Cruise in the AM, Hoop Dee Do Review in the PM, 3/3 MGM ESPN the Weekend,
3/4 maybe Sea World,
3/5 Check out of the house, Check into VWL, Ohana's for Dinner and MK EMH,
3/6 any suggestions, we'll see what hits us, and 3/7 home :sad2: :sad2:

We'll be in the parks March 23 - 28. Planning Epcot - Mar 23, AK - Mar 24, MK - Mar 25, MGM/MK - Mar 26, Not Sure Mar 27 & 28. Eating at Alfredos, Boma - dinner, Chef Mickeys - breakfast, & 1900 Park Fare - dinner.
DH is attending a conference at the Orlando Convention Center on Mar 27 & 28, so I'm in the parks with the kids by myself. I'm guessing we'll probably be in MK both those days since the kids are 3 & 7.
Just hope it's not too crowded!

We'll be there March 8 - 18. We were there 2 years ago during the cheer competition at MGM and didn't notice any extra crowds. We stopped in the Indy theater to catch some of the action. My only thought is that we were planning to be at MK on Friday, 3/10. Now I'm thinking about switching our days around....we'll see.

50 days from today we'll be at Epcot listening to Off Kilter and getting ready to head over to Beaches and Cream for dinner :teeth: . I think I hear a No Way Jose calling my name right now :cloud9: ! We're splitting our stay between PC and OKW (gotta save those DVC points :thumbsup2 ). Even though this will be my ~ 25th trip, I still get soooo excited with anticipation, just like that adorable little boy on the WDW commercial that is running now ("I'm too excited to sleep!").

hello fellow Marchers! We'll be there there Mar 26 - Apr 1. We're staying at All Star Movies. First choice was CSR, then I saw POFQ and fell in love, dd loved the looks of the dragon waterslide. However, dh and I decided that we'd have an extra $350 to spend on something else if we stayed at a value, and dd LOVES buzz, woody and the 101 dalmations, so she'll be thrilled to be at the ASMovies. (It is, after all, all about the kid, right?) It's killing me, the wait! I bought the Unofficial Guide to WDW and am going to drive dh nuts til the day we leave.

You're coming just as I'm leaving!! Will be there March 1-5
hope you have a great time :)

We will be there Mar. 9-14. We are going with the cheer competition. I have 3 DD's who cheer on All-Stars. We are staying at ASSP with the team then moving Mar. 12th to POR. I can't wait!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

PolkadotMinnie,
Which team are your dd's on? My dd's are on La. Cheer Force. I have one on Jr Prep and one on the Tiny team. We just got back from WDW in Dec, but I'm sooooo ready to go back! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi, guys. Here is the info I know about cheerleading events on March 10th thru 13th. The UCA travel package has the teams staying at the All Stars and the Carribean Beach resorts. We are not staying on the travel package because we made a full fledge family vacation out of the trip. We and several other families on our squad are staying at the BWV. The cheerleaders and their familes will start to arrive on Thursday (some arrive on Friday) and stay until Monday. The UCA MK night, Friday March 10th, is an after hours party, starting at 9pm. My family and I will be leaving the park after wishes that night. I know that most of the familes on our squad will be at the MK all day Friday. The competitions take place at the WOS Milk House and the Indiana Jones theater at MGM. They begin around 7:00am and go until about 10:00pm on both days. Each division is scheduled at different times, so there will be many cheerleaders and cheer families in the parks on the weekend... just not all at the same time. So the parks shouldn't be too overwhelmed with cheerleaders. One really good thing about our cheerleaders, we are All Star cheerleaders... we don't do chants like the school squads. I am hoping there won't be too many over excited girls screaming on busses and other modes of transportation. The familes on our squads can't wait to ride the rides and enjoy the parks. Can't wait! :cheer2: :cheer2:
Thanks for sharing the info on MK. Have a great time and good luck to your girls!

Thanks, I can't believe we are just barely a month away! I'm still trying to fine tune all our ADR's. I'm trying to not over schedule, but is really hard! :cheer2: :3dglasses

We'll be at the World in March too (3/26-3/30). This is our first trip back since our honeymoon nearly 14 years ago, and we'll be celebrating #14 there. Our kids have never been to a real amusement park, so this is going to be quite the trip for them.

We're actually starting out our trip visiting family near Atlanta, going to a Nascar race and seeing the aquarium there, then we'll drive down to FL, see Kennedy Space Ctr., go to Universal, do Disney and finish at the Nick Hotel. I'm calling this the mother of all trips. :woohoo:

yay! :bitelip: I will be there March 6-13 at the Polynesian. I also bought the unofficial guide to disney world and will be driving everyone crazy with it hehe :thumbsup2

We're in Orlando Feb 27th -March 16th.

We normally split our time up while on holiday between parks and rest/shopping days. Thanks for the Cheerleader reminder for which days to avoid.

MK 5th
