OT- Which wireless router to buy?

I need help with buying a wireless router for our home.We will need one that will work with TV box and also for netbooks and notebooks.Don't want to go broke getting one,but would like one that has alot of distance to use.Any good deals out there and which ones to stay away from?Thanks.

Cisco Linksys routers are the easiest routers to setup.

Last time I sprung for the Apple Airport Extreme one...... it is fantastic. NO MORE issues here. And while we have some Apple devices (2 Mac books, an iPad, an iTouch, and a iPhone), we also have 3 PCs, 4 Tivos, a Kindle, 2 Playstations, and more using it).

It was top rated in Consumer reports and cNet.


And I feel sick looking at that long list! In my defense, 6 adults live here.

I have a belkin that was around $50 and it works great, I can even sit on the laptop clear out by our fire pit which is in the back yard quite a ways from the house. My friend has some high dollar model and he cant even get service upstairs.
