OT- Where to stay in Winnipeg

My Dh and I are taking our kids to Winnipeg in May to visit their great grandma for her 90th birthday. We can't stay in her condo so we need a hotel. I've never been there and have no idea where to stay or where to avoid. I need a room that is reasonably priced, we'll be so busy with family and sightseeing we just need a clean place to sleep. Any ideas?

Canad Inn on McPhilips is close to Leila and has kid's theme rooms. They just redid their water park, my dd recently went to a birthday party there.

I would say Canad Inn as well..they are nice hotels
