I need new cookie sheets. I have some air bake ones and they are really beat. I have one plain jelly roll type pan, but I use that for chicken nuggets, etc.

What are some brands of cookie sheets that will last? :cutie:

I love my Southern Living cookie sheets. The surface is pebbled, so the air circulates under the cookies. They always come out slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. YUMMY!

I only use Air bake--the regular, not the non-stick! Cookies come out perfect, easy to clean and I've had these for 16+ years! I also have the brownie pan, bot it for a wedding showere gift. Everyone asks how come my brownies come out so well & I believe a lot has to do with this pan. They just aren't the same when I use a different one.

Hope that helps

I love my doughmaker cookie sheets too. This is the one Southern Living at Home sells. They also are made of aluminum and will not rust.

Hi! I use Pampered Chef stones for all my baking -- everything always comes out perfectly. Pricy (not too bad if you earn them at a party), but, IMHO, completely worth it.

I use Cooks Essentials from QVC. I've had them for a few years now & love them.

I use Wilton cookie sheets and cake pans. They are fantastic, non stick and easy to clean. Baked some biscuits last night and used no spray or butter on the pan and they came off perfectly.

I'm a Pampered Chef stoneware fan too. In fact, I switched all my cooking stuff to PC. Everything comes out even and cooked perfectly.

I use airbake & PC Stones. I like them both but it took some time to figure out the timing. I can get more on the Air bake ones. I also use parchment paper, it works out great because I can have the cookie dough ready to go on the Parchment & slide the paper on & off the Cookie sheet.

Same here! I got rid of all my other pans and only have stoneware.

OR you could try Matfer......Silpat's slightly cheaper cousin!!! I LOVE my Matfer sheets!!!!

Where do you get Southern Living cookie sheets, they sound great! If Southern LIving is a store, sorry, I live in Canada and have never heard of such cookie sheets. I do live close to the border though and would like to check these cookie sheets out!! Thanks

:santa: happy holiday baking everyone!!:santa:

I'm a grandma of 6 and have baked more than my fair share of cookies over the years. I have had every kind of cookie sheet you can purchase, from the very expensive to the cheapy type. The insulated type work the best, however you can get the same effect by using two thin types together. But, my best tip for baking cookies is to use parchment paper -the cookies won't burn and it keeps the tins clean too, and it doesn't matter why brand the pan is.

I've tried Air Bake and PC but nothing beats the ones that my Dad made for my Mom in metal shop back in the day! :thumbsup2

I guess thats not helpful though becase they aren't for sale :)

I use the silicone baking sheets, too. Given to us as a wedding present by a then-training-to-be-a-chef in NYC friend. Love them!

Here's another vote for PC! I don't use anything else. I use mine for cookies, chicken nuggets, brownies, etc. My favorite is the bar pan. I can put just about anything on it and it comes out great!

Have to agree. You'll pay more up front, but they will last forever. Mine is probably 9 or 10 years old now. I have never burned anything on them. I also trash the cheaper ones when they start to look yucky , so I would have bought a few sets by now, which really doesn't make them that much cheaper than the PC brand.

Southern Living at Home is a direct sales company. You'll need to find a consultant and/or order online. Pampered Chef is also a DS company and you will need a consultant and/or go online too
