OT - what size skateboard?

My DD is 9 1/2 and saw a Hannah Montana skateboard she wants for Christmas (there, Hannah, that makes this disney related LOL). It is 28". Is that too small for her? She is average height/weight for a 9 yr old and wear about a kids 5 if that matters.

My DH used to be a semi-pro skateboarder and he says for a 9.5 y/o a 28in skateboard is just fine. A regular adults board is 32in - but don't worry to much - I doubt she will be doing any little japans or tail grinds or anything like that!!!
