OT - what is this toy called????

The balls that open up are the item that is hard to find. Not the figurines, my DS doesn't even look at them. Everythime we go out, if we are in Target, Walmart or Toys R Us we look for them. Toys R Us by us actually put a limit on the amount you could buy.

The item in Costco is a good deal because you get the playing arena plus 6 of the balls and a couple of cards.

When Bakugon lst. started to get popular the single packs were about $3, they have gone up in price as they have gotten popular. I asked in Toys R Us about a video game and they told me not this year.

Ahh My boy (5) came up to me the other day and said he would like the balls you roll that open up like pokemon.

I guess this is what he is talking about :lmao:

My 9 yr old loves Bakugan. They make up their own rules to do "battle". It's ridiculous. I hate this toy phase, but I dread whatever the next one will be.

I don't know anything about Bakugan except my 9 yr old seems mildly interested. However, I saw a pack at Costco yesterday for $32.99. It seems (to the unexperienced eye) that it came with 4 balls, a board, and some cards. I tried to understand the game off the box and if that was all you needed to play, but it didn't really explain it.

Thank you so much for posting this! I ran out to Costco yesterday to pick two up - one for DS who turns six next week and another for my girlfriend's son. All of my boys and their friends are totally into these. I did pick up some of the single pack ones two weeks ago at Target for stocking stuffers. They are very hard to find, though - you just have to be there on the right day.

There is also a Bakugan that is bigger then the others. You get one for like $10. Of course they want that one. I don't think that is going to happen.

I picked up two of the Deka Bakugan balls at Toys R Us last week. My son has never seen them but, I think he will like them.
