You can buy them & actually get them on the Hallmark website? I know there are a few swebsites that sell them but they tell you that they are on back order. I will have to go check it out. I have been trying to get one for a month (without resorting to buying off of Amazon or Ebay & paying a bundle for them)

None of the Hallmark stores within a 30 mile radius of me has any in stock.

Just as an FYI - you cannot buy Webkinz on the Hallmark website- I just checked. If the previous poster is talking about the Hallmark stores - they are sold out everywhere. What website are you talking about? You cannot purchase Webkinz from the Webkinz website - they just direct you to stores. Please let me know. Thanks - as I said I have been searching for sometime.

I convinced DS7 to give me one of his webkinz (received 4 for at a birthday party).

We play with each other a few times a week, and have made "appointments" to play when he's at his grandmothers!

I love goobers lab

They are wonderful for kids ... boys and girls enjoy them.

I've been reading about everyone looking for Webkins. There is a store near me that just got Webkins in. They have quite a few differnet kinds. They are charging 20.00 each. The woman who owns the store said that she has to get them on the secondary market so that is why she is charging that much. If anyone wants I can try to get them for you. Just let me know which ones you would like. It will be 20.00 plus 1.20 tax plus shipping. I have a lot of feedback from ebay and trade on several other boards. Please PM me if you want me to look for you.

You are all correct. I cannot find any in stock online for under $25 and all the local stores are sold out. Mybe I'll try annapolis mall (but tht is a LONG ride). Now my daughter says she wants one too (just because her cousin will get one). I hope the supply catches up with demand before May 30. That's when my niece will be here for the summer. That's my deadline.

I can not believe that people are selling them for so much. Normal retail should be between 9.99-12.99. These people are taking advantage of their customers!

None of her friends has her username, so I don't know who this would have came from. I guess this is something else parents need to be wary of? Are people using webkinz to attract young kids now (like myspace)?

Are people using webkinz to attract young kids now (like myspace)?

I am not concerned. There is a button that they can push asking someone to be their friend. The contact is very limited. If you go to the parents space, they tell how they will be offereing a chat area soon but it is very controlled. It is like Club Penguin. You can limit what can be said - I have it that they can only use the certain phrases. What harm is that?
