DD7 (and I) have recently discovered Webkinz and are totally addicted. I was hoping someone could tell me if there's a difference between Webkinz and Lil'Kinz on the website in terms of how much money you get when you add them, etc. Do the smaller ones eat less food? Have smaller rooms? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Susy

There is not a difference in how the lil kinz behave compared to the Webkinz. The only difference I have noticed is if they go into chat rooms the lil kinz are smaller in size.
Be careful, this can be an addicting collection, especially when you have 3 kids to buy them for but they all seem to love them.

I am totally addicted to them and I am 65 yrs old. My dgd started me on them and we have fun playing the games. They are so hard to find. We travel all over Savannah Ga. just to find a few. Anyone live in that area can just go to River Street and find them in 3 or 4 stores. Some places are asking $10.00 and others are asking $15.00. Just have to keep looking till you find them. They are fun and cute besides.

DD 5 recently received a webkinz for her birthday. I'm not sure who is more "addicted"...my DD, myself, or my husband. It seems like a fight everytime we log on to internet to see who is going to play first. My daughter loves going shopping to buy her webkinz more "stuff" and it is amazing to watch her on the computer and all that she can do at such a young age.

Thanks for the replies! DD got one for her birthday earlier this month and used birthday money to buy two more. She's saved enough for yet another one! I was talking to the lady at Hallmark and she said a girl had been in earlier that day and bought her 40th. Yikes! What's really scary to me is that "I'm" thinking about buying trading cards (at $3 a pack) just for the special codes! I'm normally not this careless and stupid with my money!

Listening in...I just asked my BF about them today and I just don't get what she is talking about. I don't know anyone here that has them and her kids each have 4-5 of them.

Can they play online together, all owned by one child?
Can they play online with friends/brothers' webkinz?

oh, thank goodness I'm not the only adult who's been sucked in! My gf's niece and nephew got her addicted and she, in turn, got me addicted! hehe It's a fun time, that's for sure.

We have webkinz all over the place here in NH and Im pretty sure they are only like 7 dollars maybe at most. My son is 7 and not into them as of yet. His cousin however loves them and is addicted. I on the other hand just do not understand them what so ever. Are they like the dog games for Nintendo DS?

We are addicted here as well. My 4yr old got one & we are both addicted. I'm also impressed with what she has learned to do on the computer in the 2 months she's had it- She can beat me in a few of the arcade games, and knows how to navigate the entire site- not bad for a kid who doesn't read yet.
If you are looking for one try Amazon. I saw a few of the Lil' Kinz for about $5. (No idea on the shipping though). The only difference that I have noticed it the Lil'Kinz are smaller in size, and might get hungry less often. I think they also start off w/ less expensive welcome prizes. (We only have the big one- but my DD's best friend has 2 Lil'Kinz and we've been Kinz sitting them this week while they are on vacation. Can't miss out on the care award or Wheel of Wow ya know.:rotfl: )

I love them! My kids have several - they can play together (I am still trying to figure out how) They beg to play them. I limit it though. Right now with the summer, they only get to play with bad weather. And then I limit it to 30-45 minutes.

My sister, who is 7, and I (28) both have some of these...all courtesy of our mom. :rotfl: Nikki has 5 of them and I have 4. They gave them to me yesterday and Nikki and I were playing. I was on mom's laptop and she was on her computer (and my husband was on his laptop...though not playing this...we looked like a bunch of computer "nerds"). My biggest goal of the day was figuring out how to become friends with each other. She said you had to play the tournaments and "hope" to get paired and then ask to be friends. Lol. I knew it had to be easier. It was. I can't remember exactly what I did right now...I think you do it in the little phone. I figured we could play once in a while while I was at my house and she hers. It's REALLY fun!!

Long story short... Hubby and I are divorced and I take care of my son's Webkinz on the weekends he spends with dad. I love playing Webkinz!

So, for my birthday, he and my mom bought me a very cute bunny of my very own! Now I can play with the Webkinz in my name. :goodvibes

Back to the topic at hand, my son has both Webkinz and Lilkinz and there is no difference on the computer. He might receive less kinzcash from the adoption of the Lilkinz, but I don't think that is a big deal. And it is probably 3-4 dollars cheaper to buy the little ones!
